A quick tip for writers out there, who use Microsoft Words:

Change the background colour of the pages to a mint green shade.

It is said that green is a calming colour, however, the main reason why I like this, is because I can write for a much longer period of time now, as a white background I used before made my eyes dry and exhausted after just a few hours of working.

It is basically much more soft and careful to the eyes. I can’t precisely explain why that is. I think it’s that by making a pinch softer contrast of the text and the background, your eyes does not get exposed to as much light.

Just make sure to not make the background too dark, or else your eyes will get exhausted do to over-fixating the lack of contrast between text and background.

And maybe you find a nice pastel/light background shade that fits you; give it a try.

Different things work out and fits for different people. And I just felt like sharing this.

Here’s the shade numbers I used to get my preferred colour:

My Squad

From the JPALs ( Jacob, Jesreth, Jun and Janine) who made the the beginning of my stay up to the finale in the university the most amazing phase of my life. And even after graduation, I know we’ll stay close together.

Charina and Michael - Even before, friendship shattered. But these two stayed and will stay forever. A Filipino and a Mathematics Major, more of like Prank Majors for always pulling funny stuffs on me ^^. 

Paul - My partner in leading the class. My Class President who got stressed every time but then held us up no matter what. Just to make us feel part of the event. I’m glad to be your VP!

Andre - Always reminding me to be curious on stuffs and don’t be afraid to ask questions and learn stuffs. I’m glad to have you as my friend and a keeper of your stories. 

They were just a few of the people who created my college life more meaningful and the best. I definitely hope to meet you guys even after graduation!

Four years of holding our fierceness and friendship…

My favorite shot last graduation. It really shows how strong we were during our journey just to get in this moment. Struggles and pain to reach the finish line. But I still remember how we also struggle to not laugh while taking the photo. Holding back our smile for a few seconds when each of us were just little bottles of giggles. But I’m really proud and grateful to have these amazing people play a huge part in my stay in the university. I wouldn’t be able to surpass every challenges without you. Definitely friends for keeps ^^
