I have literally never been this happy in my entire life

#from time to time I'm rereading some diary entries from two-ish years ago until today #from when I first got the idea to apply to this programme #to the start of the application process #to the entries I wrote after the tests and the assessment center #god i was so nervous those days #and then so so anxious while waiting for the result #and now I'm here #i actually made it #and so far everything truly exceeds the expectations i had #everyone (from other trainees to the teachers) is so nice and happy to be here #and the pace is a bit intense but they already told us it would be like that at the beginning #so i was prepared for that #I'm just really enjoying every second of this new phase of my life

this was the most important/monumental year of my life and looking back, I am so fucking happy that almost everything worked out the way I wanted it to

#i got accepted!!#it hasnt completely settled in yet #i'm still in awe that this too-good-to-be-true opportunity worked out #currently rereading my journals from 2017 #and god 18 year old me was devastated when my initial future plans did not work out #and tbh the years afterswards until now i was always on edge around people cause i was afraid of being pressed for my future plans #and now i've been accepted into a programm 18 year old me didnt even know about #and even if i had i doubt i'd have been ready to apply at that age #ahh i am so ecstatic!!#life is gonna totally change next year and i am so so excited for that
