Hey guys! This is all about productive stuff you can do on Sunday to make the most out of it and have an amazing week! 🥑
Implementing some of these things in your Sunday routine, will help you not to spend your Mondays trying to get your life together.
PS click on the pictures for better quality 🥑
Hey guys, so I’ve seen some posts around about daily routines so I thought I’d share my own. I consider myself to be great at being productive even early in the morning, and here’s how I achieve that. Hope this is helpful, and feel free to ask me questions if you have any!
Language Tag
what do you consider to be your native language?
-English! It's not only the main language I speak at home, but also the language I was first exposed to.
what was your first language learning experience?
-Probably when I was between the ages of 3-6...my father tried teaching me Spanish. I still know basic phrases.
what languages have you studied and why did you start them?
-Spanish, French, Japanese, ASL and Korean! Spanish and French are school subjects. I watch tons of anime, so I wanted to learn Japanese at one point. ASL just looked really pretty to me and was actually really fun to learn. I'm really into Kpop (and Korean variety shows), and after a while, Korean language and culture began to interest me.
how does your personality affect how you learn languages?
-I'm really impulsive, and it shows with how I once studied Japanese (I used to know some basic hiragana, but now I know nothing). I'm also really introverted so I prefer learning alone.
do you prefer learning languages in a class or individually?
-Individually, but for ASL I learned in a class, and that honestly was so helpful.
what are your favourite language learning materials?
-Duolingo, Memrise, Tandem, HiNative, Hello Talk, Talk To Me In Korean
how much time do you spend actively learning per day/week?
-Probably 120 mins a week
what are your short term and long term language learning goals?
-I want to be fluent in Korean, but for other languages, I want to at least be conversational.
what is your favourite language?
-Korean or ASL.
what is the next language you want to learn?
-Possibly Mandarin...I'm also considering German.
what advice can you give to new language learners?
-Talk to as many native speakers as you can! My Korean improved a lot since I began talking to natives and while I'm still a beginner I learned so much in a few months. And learn whatever language you want! My dad constantly tells me that I should focus more on Spanish however I never really wanted to learn it....it doesn't matter how useful it is...if you want to learn it, go for it!
(2018년12월10일/10 décembre 2018/December 10, 2018)
I know my favorite kpop groups in Korean now!
(2018년12월8일/8 décembre 2018/December 8th, 2018) I might literally just become a Korean and French language/studyblr or math studyblr. Anyway, have this Korean practice session thing, using the TTMIK Level 1 textbook and workbook.
Tips for learning Korean
-Korean Unnie on YouTube....she has great videos on Korean language basics, and I've used a lot of things that I've seen in her videos.
-Duolingo. Duolingo is cool and all, but it's very repetitive, so it may get boring quickly. I would not recommend for people who aren't absolute beginners.
-Korean variety shows: These are great, I find myself understanding a lot of what's going on as a beginner. I personally like weekly idol, but there are tons of variety shows.
-The Korean Englishman (영국남자)/JOLLY: I prefer Jolly, I can understand what is being said (in the first episodes) without subs, however, there are Korean and English subs, and it's hilarious. I would pair it with the TTMIK textbooks.
-Learn the alphabet. As tempting as it is, romanization only complicates pronunciation, and you can't communicate with native speakers. A lot of Korean people don't even know what romanization is.
-Write frequently. I'll have to look into the reasoning behind Hangul's stroke order, but writing frequently (I suggest kpop lyrics or short stories if kpop isn't your thing), helps you to learn the stroke order and your handwriting gets better.
-Just pure listening. You might be surprised at how much you know, but watch Korean YouTuber with no subs.
-Talk To Me In Korean (TTMIK/티티믹). I own the level 1 textbook and workbook and I love it! The lessons are online however the books include exercises. I would recommend the books for people who know the alphabet and that's all. They can be pricey, but the average book is $12.
-LANGUAGE EXCHANGE APPS WILL SAVE YOUR LIFE. Chances are, you live in a country where Korean is not the primary language spoken...so apps like Tandem or Italki give you a chance to use what you know with natives.
-Most importantly, have fun with it! Personalize your learning to suit you!

in college there are only two moods:
1. i can do this! after outlining everything i need to do, it doesn’t seem so bad. in fact it’s very methodical and easy to follow and i can do it.
2. oh my god its happening. its the end for me. i might as well be dead. everything is due now. i was put on this earth to suffer. i have two essays due in 45 seconds and all ive eaten today is half a goldfish cracker. i can only feel pain
also these moods go back and forth every hour

Public Speaking Tips
Don’t write your speeches the night before/morning of. Practice it before you go to sleep. This is so that in the morning, it’ll be easier to remember. Use Notecards. Try to memorize it. Or better yet, know the information. This allows you to maintain eye contact, and so it’s easier to have emphasis and emotion in your voice. If you’re nervous, see if you can do your presentation 2nd or 3rd. This way you’re not first, but you get it over with quicker. Ask your family or friends for their input or have them ask questions so your presentation is thorough. Remember, whenever you give a presentation, you're the expert! ---Please add more!
Don’t strive for winning, strive for success. Success is doing your best, regardless of circumstances. You can only control what you do to prepare for a competition, audition, applications to a uni or for a job. You can’t control the circumstances, for example there might be a really strong cohort one year so you don’t get into the uni you want, but if you had applied the previous year, when there was a weaker cohort, you would have gotten in. You can’t control that, all you can do is control what you do to achieve and show YOUR best.

Ah, I guess I should count this is as 9...I’ve been productive, just not active. My apologies!!!
I don’t have any pictures, but today I had my science and math classes (Astrophysics, physics, algebra II). I came home, slept a bit and then did a kpop workout (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h38l-WNTjmo , https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P8lIb01l3c8 , https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1i42048kmvo , https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xTLUChayChQ ). I had a nice shower and I did some work on my main blog (rhetoricraegan.tumblr.com), pinterest, etc.

So, I did my history homework, had some chicken, rice and stir fry for dinner, then filled in my bullet journal.

10.01.18 Day 1/100 of productivity
I tried to be productive...I went to my classes, and when I got home I revised some math notes. I've been pretty tired lately, so I took a nap. I have dance class (Jazz) on Monday, so I headed to dance. When I got back, I ate some lamb and potatoes, and I filled in my habit and mood tracker in my bullet journal.
Krispy Kreme, coffee, and Spirited Away.

I don't have a desk yet, but I'm eating breakfast (eggs, and a cup of raspberry tea) while reviewing my physics notes.
