I had a small pool party with my mates today, which was awesome. I continued writing notes on themes within the novel Jane Eyre, and am continuing to read The Language of Thorns, which is beautiful.

i remember going into 2017 with so much excitement and hope for the future. with graduation and turning 18 and entering college, there was so much to look forward to, and change was exciting and definitely much needed. 

2018? i don’t know what’s going to happen this year, where i’m going to end up, i don’t know how to feel about this new year. so i guess, i’m just going to take it one day at a time and figure it out along the way.
