*Edited last paragraph* I’ve matured so much over this decade of drawing, and now, as the world has discovered, my art matures with me.

Here’s a farewell to those who enjoyed it while it lasted, and my sincere apologies for causing all this shock. I hope we can agree on one thing; the fandom as we know it is pretty much over.

The story of Horrortale will continue for patrons. For the rest, I hope you find the upcoming changes concerning my online presence understandable.

I really can’t think of anything else to say but, thank you, and I’m sorry for what’s happened. Many creators release mature tiers successfully, and I thought the existence of Undertale ships was kind of established. Instead, I've gravely misjudged the community and have paid a tremendous cost.  But it’s been done. The mold has been broken, it's all out in the open, and I will say my goodbye.

This fandom has become sick with puritanism, obsessed with controlling how people engage with fiction. You don’t owe anyone your peace of mind.

All characters in existence that experience traditional life cycles used to be children. Asriel was a child in Undertale, but is an adult in Deltarune, an arguably canon AU, and is heavily hinted to have been in a relationship with another character. Are you gonna call Tobias Vulpine a predator/creep too?

Maybe I’m just old, or maybe I’m desensitized, but while I can see why it might be a no go or ick to some people.. yall have got to learn to distance yourselves a little.

I’m ass deep in Undertale too- I get it. But there’s a strict line between inserting yourselves in fictional versions of universes you love and trying to claim control and ownership over that content.

Not everyone has the same boundaries as you, or the same limits, or expectations for the content they consume. Some people like reading/viewing/creating dark content. Some people genuinely have different ideas on where moral lines are. Plenty of messed up media exists to explore concepts, situations and emotions in a safe environment that can be controlled- and you personally get to control if you consume that content. It does NOT reflect on your personal inclinations necessarily if you do either.

I’ve always been kind of so-so on the aging up thing- not my bag but also not freaking out about it- and saying a creator can’t imagine their own OC in various situations because they started out that OC in a public comic is pretty weird yall.

This shipping craziness has always been our foil as a fandom.

We should focus on making sure real people in real life are safe and in good situations. Please don’t muddle up resources for actual need by calling everyone and a bag of chips these pretty dire names. You are not required to support @sourapplestudios, but I think this whole thing is insanely blown out of proportion in a way only Twitter people do.

so wait you dont like boom!sonamy because Boom!Amy is not the type of girl to really be all that encouraging as Modern Amy is to Modern Sonic, but are fine if Modern Amy swapped places with Boom Amy? Yet you dont like Modern Sonamy? I dont get that. I though what you wanted was for Amy to mature and ease up on her affection for Sonic. Which she does in Boom. She sill loves and supports him, but not to the point Modern would. So you want her to ease up, or to be super suppertive?

Okay, out of the multiple asks I’m guessing are mostly from you since they were sent in a very short timespan, this one I can actually follow and understand because I was admittedly very vague about it in my original post.

I think the Sonic Boom cast kidnapped Sticks as a baby/young kid and raised her as their feral pet. They fed her conspiracy theories so she'd never look herself up online or watch news broadcasts of bio family.

Tails would be such a tease, calling Cosmo his little flower and maybe being a bit pervy about it when the two of them are particularly feeling it.

Absolutely loves being the one in charge.

Hate to be THAT guy, but even as someone who adores Shiraishi's work on the Riders titles, I've never once liked this trope in fiction...

... and I dislike it more when a character like Tails is used for it (especially when Wave is literally right there).

Like, Tails is the kind of character that keeps any and all tech talk simple and easy to follow, at least when he's explaining it to someone else. He tends to use pretty laymen terms and streamlined lexicon so simple that a child can understand, which makes sense since Tails is... y'know, a child himself!

What's more, Tails is already keenly aware that much of the Sonic cast aren't as mechanically inclined as he is (the only characters that can really rival him are Eggman and Wave, both actively antagonists). Thus, his more simple and straightforward vocabulary, even when talking about science or machinery with another character.

That's not even getting into the whole "Tails has been friends with these guys for literal years. What did he think was going to happen?" thing.

I didn't like Tails using this trope in Riders, I didn't like it in Colors (the only thing saving that example is the fact that Tails is muttering to himself this time), I didn't like it in Boom, I didn't like it in Frontiers, and I certainly hated when TailsTube did it.

When you take this lazy route to drill into the audience's collective heads that "TAILS IS THE SMART ONE GUYS" instead of just showing it organically, Tails stops being Tails, and you've instead written Double D.

Sonic Crack Ships

So lately I've been going through a Sonic phase though its mostly a Tails phase if im being honest with myself. I've been trying to watch all the Sonic media and read all the Sonic comics that I can while playing a few Sonic games here and there. So my messed up brain came up with this stupid idea. What if I put every version of every canon Sonic characters from all Sonic media into multiple rounds of the hunger games simulator until only ones left. So I did that and even though I literally did it yesterday I already forgot who won I just remember it was something stupid. I also did it with all the diffrent canon and AU versions of Tails I could find and the winner was actually Tails from Sonic Boom. But anyways im getting off track where im going with this is that today while I was doing nothing lying in bed my brain came up with an even more messed up idea. What if I put all the Sonic characters not including the humans into a random wheel picker on Google to form a bunch of crack ships. So I did it for every character on the wheel. I now have a list. And I have decided to post this list because I find it funny. And I dare people to draw a couple from this list together or make a short cute crack story about one of these ships. And if you do please send a link to me. Ill die laughing if anyone does this. Sorry if I misspelled some names. P.S. I tried to put pictures on here for each character but I couldn't figure out how. I already have a part 2 for this in the works with even more characters.

Idk much about those continuities but man Anarchy (anti Energy) would probably be a total PAIN IN THE NECK. It'd probably just be causing trouble instead of trying to the right thing in its eyes smh

And yea STC Energy,,, idk much about the comic but I feel like STC Energy would give off abused dog that's violent out of fear. Amnesia would help it be more rational and like it's former self. The Chaos Emeralds kinda absorbed hatred over time smhhhh
