(Summary: Gadgette and Specs get into a small argument over who has the superior robotic arm and Gadgette decides to show Specs why her arm is clearly better.)
Lee: Specs
Ler: Gadgette
Gadgette is created by @giggles-symphony
Specs didn't expect to ever meet anybody else with a metal arm... who wasn't some mad scientist like him or some goody-two-shoes wannabe tech hero. However one afternoon while he was incognito (meaning he was just wearing a long sleeved sweater and a flimsy face mask), while he was at a normal appliances store when he was reaching for some mechanical oil, the last one on the shelf, his hand collided with another person's. With how tired he was of dealing with grumpy clients and Imp's normal chaos, Specs wasn't above slapping the other hand away but paused upon staring at the stranger. She was probably about the same height and was wearing a green shirt, green eyes, had ginger hair, and was wearing black overalls.
But the main thing he was interested in was her arm. Unlike his it was an obvious attachment with metallic accents and even though he was sure they functioned similarly, it was a stark contrast to his own. Which blended in with his skin and only the seams in his arm could be seen under the light or a very keen eye. A keen eye which this stranger seemed to have as she also took an interest in it as well.
"Nice arm." She stated, her hand not loosening on the oil can. "You made it yourself?"
"Indeed I did. I assume the same is true for yours as well?" Specs asked, also not loosening his grip.
"Yep! I'm Gadgette by the way."
"Specs."
And thus this odd friendship was born between the two afterwards. Both had exchanged information and agreed to meet up due to sharing common interests in invention and mechanical work. But in the end it was Gadgette who walked away with the oil (no Specs is not still salty about that). Now the two were in Specs' lab both working on separate projects.
Normally Specs would never invite someone he just met last week into his "secret" laboratory, but finding someone who shares the same passion... as well as sharing a metal arm is hard to find. Also, Imp kept bothering him about making more friends outside of his villain work so he digressed. He didn't push about the reasoning behind Gadgette's arm and she didn't push about his. He also didn't tell her about his "job" being an inventor/scientist for other villains. It was just nice to have some form of connection outside of that work.
"Pass me that screwdriver please." Gadgette asked, snapping him out of his thoughts.
"Of course, here." Specs replied, handing her the green screwdriver across from him. "Do you need help with what you're working on currently?"
Gadgette, who was currently adjusting something on her arm looked up and shook her head.
"No, just recalibrating some things on my arm is all."
"I see, would you mind if I watched... I'm curious to how your arm differs from my own."
After getting a nod from the other inventor, Specs scooted closer and watched as she worked on her arm. Using the screwdriver she twisted off a few small panels and fixed some wiring inside. The wiring inside of her arm differed from the wiring inside his own, but not drastically, he assumed it was because their arms both performed different functions. And while Specs choose a more sleek design for his arm he could see the appeal of having a more obvious mechanical prosthetic. However, upon closer inspection he saw a black band attached around the wrist that seemed to be able to unclip.
"What's that black band for?" He asked, pointing at it with his normal hand.
"Oh, this is place attachments where my hand would normally go. I can unscrew it by the band and place on... um... let's see, a blowtorch, a small circular saw, a drill, and a buffer pad so far." Gadgette explained allowing Specs to see her arm more clearly. "Does your hand also detach or only serve a singular function?"
Specs grinned at the chance to show off.
"Actually my arm can serve a multitude of functions. Though, unlike yours I have some hidden panels inside that can swap out with my hand." To prove this, Specs's hand collapsed on itself and went inside the arm cavity and then out popped a nozzle that spat out a small flame.
"That's quite impressive." Gadgette complimented, only further boosting his ego.
"It is isn't it. It's much more efficient and compact and one wouldn't need to waste time switching out parts so often." Specs couldn't resist that small dig at Gadgette's arm. "If you wanted to I could easily install my own unique upgrades on your arm. Maybe even help make it less... uh noticeable as well."
"Thank you for the offer but I enjoy my arm the way it is right now." Gadgette replied, obviously noticing the small dig at her expense. "Besides sometimes overcomplicating things isn't the best way to go."
"Maybe so, but you have to admit my arm saves time and the headache." Specs rebutted. "It's simply much more efficient."
"Are you trying to insinuate your arm is better than mine?"
"Of course not..." Specs defended, but the smirk didn't leave his face as he turned back to his own arm. "I'm just saying mine is more time and energy savvy... and that yours is also a little slow."
He muttered that last part and turned back to arm and started rebooting it. Which is something he had to do in order to make sure all the parts were working correctly. This would put his arm out of commission for about fifteen minutes. During this he didn't notice the silhouette sneaking up behind him until-
"Take it back!" Gadgette exclaimed, digger her non-mechanical fingers into Specs' side.
"Gah!"
Specs yelped and twisted to the side before bursting into giggles as she started wriggling her fingers against him.
"Hehehey! Stahahahap!" He squirmed in his seat and tried batting at her hand with his own while his mechanical arm was on the table still rebooting.
"Not until you take back what you said about my arm being slow." She argued as she switched to softly pinching at his hips.
"EEEH! Nohohoho! It's the truhuhuhuth!" Specs refused to budge on this and if he died a tickly death on this hill then so be it. "Mihihihine is behehetter and yours is prihihihimitive!"
Gadgette let out a false offended gasp at that and pretended to place her hand over her heart.
"How dare you! I'll show you primitive!" And with that she revealed her mechanical arm which was hiding behind her back and had the buffer attachment on where her hand would've been.
"Wahahahait... whahahait nohohohohoho!" Specs begged and twisted, unable to move much thanks to his mechanical arm being dead weight.
The moment the buffer pad started rubbing against his hip he shrieked and curled in on himself after all else failed.
"Admit my arm is the superior one and then I'll stop." Gadgette said and Specs shook his head.
"NEHEHEHEHEVER!"
"Suit yourself."
The buffer bad then began to spit and she started dragging it up and down his torso and stomach. Specs squealed again and fell into silent laughter, tears gathering at the corner of his eyes and his face going a bright shade of red. His glasses became askew with all the thrashing and his arm was still rebooting so he couldn't move from his chair and could only sit there and take it. His pride was on the line here but bit by bit he was slowly breaking down. The second the spinning brush rounded back to his hip however...
"OKHAHAHAHAHAY! OKHAHAHAHAHAY! YOUR AHAHAHARM IS BEHEHEHEHETTER! IT'S BEHEHEHEHTTER!" He screeched out, resorting to kicking now. "PLEHEHEHEHEASE! MEHEHEHEHERCY! MEHEHEHEHERCY!"
Finally after a few more seconds, Gadgette stopped and pulled the buffer pad away while smiling victoriously.
"See, was that so hard?" She teased and Specs could only groan in response as he wiped his eyes.
"That was mehehean... and underhanded." Specs huffed. "No pun intended."
Gadgette chuckled as she replaced the metal hand on her hand by unscrewing the black band.
"We should do this again sometime." Gadgette said and paused when she saw Specs' horrified expression. "The tinkering together... not the tickling. Well, unless you make another dig at my arm being inferior again."
"Yes, I suppose that'd be acceptable." Specs replied, fixing his glasses and reaching for a bottle of water after his arm chimed to reveal it was done rebooting. "We should do this again sometime."
Imp was right about one thing. It was nice to have a friend outside of work. Though in the future Specs would be sure to keep the snarky comments and his ego in check.
((Sorry this took so long. Finals kicked my ass)).
(Summary: Malleus comes into the possession of a strange plant he hasn't seen before. After taking care of it for a day it blooms into something quite strange.)
(Feather lilies created by @lilaccfeathers)
Malleus normally didn't walk through the greenhouse of the school unless necessary, however because of how slow the day was he decided to take a small stroll before heading back to Diasomnia. Lilia was currently with Cater and Kalim and the Pop Music Club, while Sebek and Silver were training with the Equestrian club, meaning he was alone. As he passed through a few students scurried out of his way upon seeing him, not that Malleus minded, but it would've been nice to have someone to talk to. Perhaps he could visit Ramshackle and see the child of man, surely they'd be willing to talk, hopefully about Gargoyles as Malleus had seen an interesting one and wanted to tell someone about it.
"I told you to put that thing back!"
Malleus' peaceful thoughts were redirected by a commotion coming from across the greenhouse. He decided to go and see what was going on. As he crossed the main area he saw two familiar figures arguing in the grassy area. Leona was currently arguing with Ruggie about something.
"I'm not going to put it back! Crewel will have my hide if he finds out I took it from potionology classroom. Besides there were so many he probably won't even notice it's missing" Ruggie protested, and that's when Malleus noticed the hyena beastman holding a very interesting looking plant.
Upon further inspection the plant seemed to be some kind of flower. The dragon fae had an extensive knowledge on plants, though this one eluded him. At first it looked like your average plant with a green stem but atop it was a very fluffy pink and purple flower that seemed to made out of feathers instead of petals. It was fascinating.
"I don't care about that. What if that thing grows?" Leona argues back unaware of the approaching fae.
"Pardon me." Malleus stated, making his presence known and startling the two Savanaclaw students.
Leona and Ruggie turn to see Malleus standing there. Elegant yet an aura of power around him. Ruggie instinctively stepped behind his Housewarden and Leona's bored look reappeared on his face as he leant against the tree trunk behind him.
"What do you want, lizard?" The lion beastman asked.
"I apologize for intruding on your conversation, however I couldn't help but notice that plant you're holding. I've never quite seen anything like it before, especially not in Briar Valley." The Diasomnia Housewarden explained, stepping closer to the duo. "What is it?"
"Yeah it's some new species recently discovered, not much is known about it save for the fact that it behaves like any normal flower." Leona explained, taking note of Malleus' interest. "Students here have been taking care of 'em to find out what they do basically. It was covered in the last Housewarden meeting."
"I wasn't informed there had been a meeting recently." Malleus stated, getting a tad agitated learning that people forgot to invite him to another meeting, again. "It seems you forgot to invite me again."
"Yeah, sure, that." The Savanaclaw Housewarden brushed it off.
Ignoring that part, Malleus stared back down at the plant. He could swear he could see the feathery petals moving on their own but it could also be the artificial breeze in the greenhouse. Either way the more he stared at the plant the more interesting it became. From it's medium size to it's pastel petals.
"Could I see it?" He asked and immediately Ruggie handed it over.
Seeing an opportunity as Malleus inspected the plant, Leona took it.
"You can have if you want." He said, much to both the surprise of the other two boys.
"Really?"
"Yeah, this is your chance to catch up to everything. Besides, it's a low maintenance plant, should do fine in the gloomy air of Diasomnia." Leona explained, shrugging as Malleus stared at the potted plant in awe.
"But Leona-" Ruggie began to protest.
"Shush." Leona elbowed the second year. "What do you say lizard? You gonna take it off our hands?"
"I suppose if it is low maintenance... and it is quite fascinating." Malleus started muttering to himself. "Very well, I accept this gift from you, Kingscholar."
"It's not a... ugh, nevermind." Leona grumbled as he turned to leave. "C'mon Ruggie, we have Spelldrive practice in an hour."
The two Savanaclaw students left and as they walked out of the greenhouse, younger of the two expressed his concern.
"Does Malleus even know about it's second and third stage?" Ruggie asked.
"Nah, probably not. Doesn't matter anyways, it's not like the thing will hurt him."
"Shishishi... I didn't know you had a mischievous side to you Leona."
"I don't, I just didn't want that thing causing trouble in Savanclaw. Besides, Diasomnia seems like the kind of people who need to... lighten up a bit."
Back in Diasomnia, Malleus had places the small potted plant near the windowsill. He had gone to the library earlier to get books on plant care and even though there wasn't much light that filtered through, the plant seemed to be thriving. The Houswarden was watering it when he noticed footsteps stopping in his doorway.
"Ah, Lilia, I see you have returned from your club activities." Malleus said, turning to see his father figure/vice Housewarden.
"Yes I have, though I can see your have your hands full. Where did you acquire such a unique plant?" Lilia asked, stepping in and inspecting the small plant.
To Malleus' surprise the plant curled its petals around Lilia's fingers and the uncurled.
"Fascinating." Malleus spoke.
"Yes, quite. Feather lilies are known to be quite clingy plants." Lilia explained as the plant uncurled from his fingers.
"I wasn't aware you knew so much about this specific flora, Lilia."
"Oh I don't, I only know the basics that the other Housewardens know." The vice Housewarden continued to explain. "It's so small now, I wonder what'll actually look like when it gets to its second stage."
"It's what?" Malleus asked.
"Ah, never mind. Take good care of it, the dorm could use a splash of color anyways." Lilia said with a smile on his face as he turned to leave. "Remember to water it daily."
Malleus didn't trust the way Lilia smiled at him when he said that but turned his attention back to the flower which seemed to be moving on its own again. He decided to water it a little more before going to bed and watering it again in the morning where it'd hopefully get a small amount of sunlight that day.
The next morning Malleus awoke to a strange sensation on his chest. It felt as if a small animal was resting there and when he opened his eyes he was met with a large cluster of feathery petals near his face. He sat up slowly and after turning his neck he saw that the creature had a rotund green body with tiny nubs for feet and a long green stem for a neck where the purple and pink head of feathers rested. The small creature didn't seem malicious and in fact curious as it turned and wagged it's tail which had a small clump of the same feathers attached.
"Curious." He muttered, and then he turned his head to check on the Feather Lily he had taken in only to see an empty pot.
Two and two clicked together and he came to the conclusion that this creature must've been the plant in the pot earlier. Gently he reached out to pat the creature and like a cat it settled under his hand, not backing away or showing any signs of fear. It was refreshing in a way.
"Quite the fearless creature, are you?" Malleus said as patted the creature.
Instead of replying the creature bounded upwards on Malleus' chest and started nuzzling its head into the prince's neck. The feathery sensation tickled at his skin and Malleus bit back the urge to giggle or make any noise. He refrained from pushing at the creature in fear of hurting it.
"Snrk- staha... dohohon't." Malleus protested, trying to turn his head to the side and block out his neck, but this only seemed to spur the creature on more.
The Feather Lily started nuzzling with more vigor and it's tiny nubs stuck to his clothes. It then used it's tail to dust at an open spot of skin from his robe being slightly undone. Seemingly feeding off the soft laughter coming from him.
"Cehehease thihihis nohohow." Malleus tried commanding the plant to no avail.
It was then, suddenly, his door opened and two similar creatures bounded in. Both were attracted to the sound of soft laughter. Before the prince could do anything against them, the two plants also bounded onto his bed and began clinging to him and nuzzling into his body themselves. One of then was at his torso burrowing it's feathery head into his stomach and using its tail to tease at his sides. While the other made its way above his head and dusted against his horns which caused small jolts of sensitivity to shoot through his body.
"Ghk... Desihihist... plehehehehease..." The prince fell into louder giggles, still holding himself back from pushing or harming the plants by curling his hands into fists and keeping them at his sides. "Nahahat thehehere."
The main Feather Lily saw an opportunity as Malleus' robes began coming more undone through his squirming and burrowed its head into his bare stomach, causing the prince to let out an undignified squeal. He tried gently shoving the creature off but its nubs seemed to stick onto his clothes making it harder for him to remove it.
"Okahahahay! Enohohohough! Enough plehehehease! Stahahahahap!" The tingling sensations continued to grow as the Feather Lilies began tickling him with more fervor, feeding off and enjoying his laughter. "Hehehehehelp!"
"Ah, so that's where they went." A familiar voice came from the doorway, causing Malleus to look up despite trying to hide his neck earlier.
Lilia stood there in uniform with an amused look on his face as he watched the prince of Briar Valley struggling to compose himself under the wrath of small tickly creatures. It had been so long since he had seen Malleus laugh so freely and part of him didn't want it to stop. However, he knew the sensation was a tad foreign to Malleus so it'd be best to stop this before he reached his limit.
"Lihihihihia! Hehehelp!" Malleus called out, still trying to get the plant off him. "It tihihihickles! Gehehet them ohohohohoff!"
Slowly he made his way over to the giggling heap and picked off the creatures himself, for some reason they didn't attack him instead and just scurried around the room.
"Sebek and Silver were gifted similar plants by their classmates who insisted that they'd make great decorations around our dorm." Lilia explained as he watched Malleus regain his composure and his giggles die down. "Fufufufu... it seems they also fell for the same prank. Though your seemed to have sprouted first. There's must've grown overnight as well and were attracted to the sound of laughter. Such mischievous little plants."
Malleus must've had a confused look on his face because Lilia just chuckled again and continued explaining.
"The Feather Lilies are a type of plant that feeds of laughter as well as conventional plant needs. It has three stages it can grown into. The first stage was the one you were given and it starts small and harmless. However, this is their second form, giving them a small body which allows the plants to tickle others to make feeding off laughter easier."
"I... see, and you didn't think to relay this information to me earlier?" Malleus huffed, crossing his arms.
"Ah, where's the fun in that. The plant is harmless. Besides, many speculate it can get as big as an elephant in its third stage!" Lilia exclaimed, taking pride in the surprised look on Malleus' face. "Though with how new the plant is very few documents of it have been recorded. I doubt they would've gotten any bigger feeding off you... though if they got loose in the dorm..."
"I shall give them to professor Crewel, he will know what to do with these plants." Malleus firmly said, sitting upwards.
"Shame. It would've been nice to see them running around Diasomnia."
Malleus clearly disagreed but couldn't help but look down fondly at the plants. After all they weren't afraid of him and despite the original annoyance he didn't mind the sensations... it made him feel warm, happy even. Lilia must've noticed this because he sat down next to Malleus and started petting the Feather Lilies.
"Of course, we can turn them in a moment." He said, watching as Malleus tentatively started petting the Feather Lilies as well.
"Yes, perhaps later. These are... interesting creatures." Malleus agreed. "I do not mind them, I'd like to study them more, perhaps in a more suitable environment."
The future king of Diasomnia continued petting the plants softly. Quite the interesting plant indeed, perhaps he should take one to Kingscholar, return the favor. Though right now he enjoyed the quiet moment with the creatures and hoped he'd get to interact with them again in the future.
Summary: Grim causes trouble and Yuu unfortunately pays for it.
Lee: Yuu
Lers: Ace and Deuce
(This is a tickle fic please don't interact if that doesn't make you comfortable)
Yuu knew something was wrong the moment Grim ran towards them with a panicked look on his face.
"Myah! Hide me henchman!" The small monster shouted as he slid under Yuu and into Ramshackle dorm.
Yuu didn't even have time to process what was going on before both Ace and Deuce came running as well. Both were in their science uniforms and looked pretty ticked off. Soot covered their uniforms and faces and from that Yuu could kind of piece together what probably transpired.
"Where's the fur-ball?!" Ace demanded as he caught his breath with Deuce stopping right behind him.
"What do you mean?" Yuu asked, having a sinking feeling that they may regret defending the other Ramshackle member. "Did something happen in potionology class?"
"We were working on a potionology assignment before Grim came running straight through and shook the table. The potions reacted and basically blew up in our faces." Deuce explained, though even though he had a cool head he seemed annoyed as well.
"I see, well, unfortunately I haven't seen him around." Yuu replied, but at that moment a very Grim shaped figure could be seen peeking out of the curtains before going back to hiding.
"There he is!" Ace shouted as he attempted to make his way towards Ramshackle.
Yuu stepped in front of the duo trying to redirect them away.
"Hold on, that's not Grim that was one of the ghosts. You know how haunted the old building is." Yuu attempted to lie.
Ace and Deuce exchanged looks that clearly said they didn't didn't believe them. However the two Heartslabuyl students didn't point it out right away. Instead they shared a smirk and walked towards Yuu instead.
"So you're sure that the figure we just saw in the window wasn't Grim?" Ace asked, his voice deceptively sweet now.
"Uh-huh." Yuu affirmed, deciding that this was the hill they'd die on and that Grim would be owing them big time.
Deuce had also circled them and appeared by their side, sharing the same mischievous smile along withe Ace.
"Right... because the very Grim-shaped figure that we just saw in Ramshackle dorm at the window is totally a ghost." He teased.
"Y-yep." Yuu replied, their voice shaky. "Totally not him. You two should probably go now to remake your potion and- Ghk!"
Yuu then tensed as they felt Deuce dig his fingers into their sides. The dark bluenette then started wriggling his fingers against Yuu's sides, squeezing lightly.
"Deheheheuce!" Yuu yelped as they doubled over and tried swatting at their friend's hands.
"Not until you tell us where Grim is!" Ace demanded and joined it, grabbing Yuu's arms and holding them out allowing Deuce more access to their torso.
"Wahahait! Wahahahait! I dohohohon't knohohohow!" Yuu protested, squeaking when Ace joined in with his right hand and scratched at their underarm.
"Lies!" Deuce teased as he then started kneading his hands into their ribs.
"GAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! I SWEHEHEHEAR! I DOHOHOHON'T KNOHOHOW!" Yuu shrieked, curling in and squirming as they felt both Ace and Deuce wriggling their hands in tandem now hitting all their most sensitive spots. "STAHAHAHAHAP! PLEHEHEHEHEASE!"
"Just tell us and we'll stop~" Ace taunted as he let go of Yuu's hands and used both of his hands to tickle Yuu's sides and underarms.
Yuu all but collapsed against Deuce as their laughter got louder and their squirming became more pronounced. They highly considered selling Grim's location out and just letting the two into Ramshackle to deal with it themselves, but they were too stubborn to give up.
"EAHAHAHAHAHAHA! AHAHAHACE! DEHEHEHEUCE! PLEHEHEHEHEASE!" At this point it was getting overwhelming and right before Yuu was about to tap out their saving grace arrived.
"Ace! Deuce!" A stern voice called out.
Both Heartslabuyl students immediately stopped at the sight of their Housewarden standing there with his arms crossed and a disappointed look on his face. Yuu greedily inhaled air as they stumbled back onto their feet and rubbed at their sides to get rid of the phantom tickles lingering on their torso.
"What are you two doing? Shouldn't you be finishing up you potionology project?" Riddle scolded, glaring at the underclassmen. "Professor Crewel strictly said all First Years must turn in their assignments before six o'clock this evening."
"We were Housewarden but Grim messed it up and-"
Riddle cut off Deuce before he could continue.
"And instead of going back to working on the project and using your time wisely you decide to torture the poor prefect?" He chastised. "I suggest you and Ace go back to the potionology lab and stop wasting time and redo your work before it's off with your heads. Understood?"
"Yes Housewarden." Both First Years grumbled as they trudged back to the potionology lab with Riddle following behind them.
Grim finally emerged from Ramshackle after making sure Ace and Deuce were gone.
"Thanks for the help henchman! I'll make sure you're remembered as my helper when I'm a great mage!" He announced and as annoyed as Yuu was they couldn't help put pat Grim on the head.
"Yeah, yeah. No problem. Also I'm cutting your tuna supply."
(Summary: Specs overworks himself yet again after a rough job and his henchperson decides he needs to lighten up a bit.)
Specs knew he shouldn't of taken this job, he knew he it would be a long harrowing process of dealing with people who don't appreciate his work and see him as cheap labor. What should've been a fifteen minute job of developing a simple chemical for some D-list villain ended up with him spending six hours developing more of said chemical because the first batch was apparently not enough and of course said villain was actually working for an A-list villain and promised that villain six boxes of the stuff. Which is why currently said D-list villain no longer had access to any technology in his so called lair as Specs had made sure of it by hacking into the main system and resetting all his passwords to random nonsense he let Imp type in with their eyes closed.
And now he's curled up like shrimp in a desk chair, his blue and white hair normally tied up neatly was hanging loosely on his back, and he was catching up on work that he didn't get to due to the unfortunate set back. The faint sound of metal being welded together filled the room as Imp came back from helping load the last of the chemicals into the A-list villain's truck. Quietly they padded towards Specs who was laser-focused on the the task in front of him.
"Gotcha~!"
"GHK! Imp!" Specs yelped as he felt two clawed hands dig into his sides. His metallic arm gripping onto the table hard as his right one flailed.
"C'mon boss... the pizza place down the road closes in thirty minutes. I'm hungry after working all day." Imp pouted as they leaned against the table and watched as Specs grumbled and got back to work.
"Then order takeout. I'm busy."
"You've been busy for the past seven hours!" Imp slowly tried pulling the machine Specs was working on away from the disgruntled scientist but Specs' arm had a first grip on it. "You need to take a break."
"I'll take a break when I'm done."
"You said that an hour ago with the first machine you decided wasn't worth finishing. Just eat something."
"If you're so worried about me go make me tea or something." Specs replied, bitterly, and after seeing the frown on Imp's face relented. "Sorry... please go make me some tea."
Imp took one look at Specs' posture, his crooked glasses, dark circles under his eyes, and made an executive decision. They were going to mess with him.
"Of course, you're probably so tired from working so much. I'll get that right away." Imp said, and knew Specs was too tired to hear the mischief laced in their voice.
Specs sighed and relaxed slightly as he watched his henchperson leave. Later as the scientist was back to his terrible posture, Imp comes back into the room holding a small cup of tea. Imp set it down next Specs and wandered off to a corner to watch the chaos unfold. The scientist drank the tea using his right arm as his robotic one used on finger with a flame coming out of the tip to weld two pieces of metal together.
Two minutes go by, then three, and after five minutes Specs' posture began to shift. A weird tingling feeling goes up his spine and then settles in his stomach and sides. The sensation began getting stronger with each minute and the scientist's hands became less steady.
"Ihi... Imp." Specs turned to his henchperson, biting his lip to keep any mortifying noises from slipping through. "What is ihin thihis tea?"
"Hmm?" The pink haired henchperon tilted their head. "Oh, nothing special. Your usual, two sugar cups, tablespoon of milk, a diluted version of the sensitivity chemical you made last week, honey, and uh... water I guess?"
"Whahat?!" Specs curled up more as he felt the sensations on his sides go from feeling like feathers to fingers wiggling against his torso.
"Oh the honey? I used the new brand you bought... it probably tastes different." Imp teased as they watched their boss struggle to maintain dignity.
"Nohoho! Ihihimp!"
"Oooh. You mean the chemical." Imp said, pushing off the desk they were leaning against and strolled over. "Yeah I added a diluted version of the chemical you made to stimulate the nervous system. Pretty sneaky huh?"
The sensation of fingers then traveled from his torso to his knees and back and Specs lost whatever thread he was holding onto as he doubled over in laughter.
"Gahahahahahaha! Imp whyhyhy?!" Specs dropped the tools he was using and went to cover his body, and a lot of good that did him. "I cahahan't! Mahahake it stahahahap!"
Imp leaned over the chair the scientist was curled up in and leaned down.
"Only if you promise to stop working and go eat something and then go straight to bed.~"
"Nehehever! I neheheheed tohoho fihihihinish thihihihis!"
"Suit yourself~" Imp then began pinching at Specs' hips causing the poor scientist to loose it.
Specs flailed and shrieked, but was careful not to hit Imp with his robotic arm. He doubled over more but every time he tried twisting away he just moved into the waiting hands of Imp. The sensations have now gotten stronger as he designed the chemical to stimulated nerves once activated, meaning the more he was tickled the worse it got.
"OKAHAHAHAY! I'LL EAHEHEAT! I GIHIHIHIVE! I GIHIHIHIHIVE!" Finally Specs surrendered now feeling Imp knead his fingers into his hips, slamming his metal arm into the table, denting it slightly.
After a few more pokes, causing Specs to yelp and actually swat at the offending hands, Imp ceased the tickling. Unfortunately the chemical has no worn off and the lingering feeling of fingers grazing his sides and stomach lingered.
"Anti... antidohohote... plehehease." Specs begged as he leaned over the table for support.
Imp simply reached into their pocket and pulled out a vial of clear liquid and handed it to the scientist who was now frazzled and giggling himself silly. Specs took the vial and drank it, relaxing as the sensation began to retreat. He glared weakly at his henchperson who just gave him a toothy smile back.
"You're the wohorst."
"And you need to eat."
Specs sighed as he allowed Imp to go make something in the small kitchen beyond the lab. Part of him wanted to argue but he knew better than to fight Imp on something like this. Besides, all that laughing wore him out. His stomach growled softly and he sighed as he got up to go help them. Perhaps a break wasn't too awful after all.
"Oh come on and lighten up... boss ain't gonna do nothing to ya. Maybe just experiment on you a little~"
(Feel free to ask this lil guy questions as well)
CW: Kidnapping, poaching
They/them, 19 years old. Imp is a mischievous fellow who works with Specs. They call themselves a henchperson when in reality they're on pretty equal standing in the lab. Though due to their clumsiness and love of chaos, Imp isn't allowed to touch anything.
They met Specs when he was kidnapped by poachers who sought out rare creatures (Imp is half fae, half demon). Specs, who hated dealing with people like this but was hired by someone who made deals with them found Imp in a cage and freed them much to his patron's dismay but to Specs the money wasn't worth the lives at risk so he and Imp teamed up to free the other creatures.
Ever since then Imp wouldn't leave Specs alone and they basically started working together since Specs couldn't get rid of Imp and also Imp had nowhere to go so they started living together in Spec's lab.
Imp's powers are basically chaos magic that they can't control and they're basically a defense system for the lab and Spec's bodyguard when he's working. However, Imp is also like a younger sibling in that they will tickle Specs whenever Specs is being grumpy (which is all the time), and is the only one who knows about Specs' not so low-key crush on Silver Spyre. They constantly tries to set them up and is always unsuccessful but that won't mean they won't give up!
(They also totally don't know about Specs' secret tickle blog online where Specs rants about wanting to be wrecked by the current hero).
"There's a fine line between science and mad science... and by fine I mean there's none at all."
Feel free to ask him questions! (Might write a fic about him)
He's sort of my own oc. Basically he's a, 21 year old, mad scientist for hire who specializes in robotics and chemistry and he works for villains who need a scientist by their side but is notorious enough to be his own villain if he so chooses to. Has a robotic arm that blends in with his skin tone to not arise suspicion in public, but it's basically a multi-tool with a bunch of different appliances like an energy shield, a blaster, can detach the wrist, and basically anything a scientist would need.
He has psychic abilities like telekinesis but it's sort of weak and he mainly relies on his robotic arm to do the heavy work. Basically he mainly just uses his abilities to make his coffee float and hold different objects in place. It tires him out to use them so he doesn't really expand on them but he will use them if he feels threatened.
Has an ongoing rivalry with one of the main heroes of his city, the Silver Spyre, and despite him not being huge in the villain community and being more of a scientist they feud often. (He may or may not have a crush on the hero but that will never be admitted out loud).
Works with his best friend/henchman, Imp, and the two mainly just run his lab. Poor boy barely gets sleep and it's up to Imp to make sure his best friend/boss gets the proper eight hours needed to function. He lives off of caffeine and spite and is just doing his best to survive in the city. Has a soft spot for animals. He's also gay, but that isn't very important... to him at least.
(And yes he's incredibly ticklish, though he'd rather die than admit it, and definitely uses tickling in his experiments on people he "captures" for testing)
