Can I have some Jotaro headcanons as a big brother? When the sibling comes with him to Egypt?
You got it, kitten! Jotaro would be that rude-but-loving big bro tbh haha
BigBrother!Jotaro (SDC) Headcanons
Jotaro would first insist to his younger sibling to stay and look after their mother. However, when he gets lip back from you that it was also their responsibility as Holly’s second child to help rid the curse off her, Jotaro would just lower his hat and sigh before he would mutter, “Good grief. You’re really hard-headed when it comes to these things. Fine, but you better watch out for stands. This isn’t a school field trip.”
If sibling is female, Jotaro is surprisingly protective. When there isn’t an enemy stand around, Jotaro always alerts Joseph that he would be sticking next to her whenever she wants to shop around for snacks, souvenirs, or other items in the cities they visit. Though he may not like some of the places he will visit, such as beauty shops or department stores full of clothes, Jotaro will tail after her and keep her company. He will make small comments here and there if his younger sister asks him for his opinion on some of the clothes she sees.
By the end of the day and after hours of walking around, little sister whines that it had been a long day that tested her feet. It wasn’t a request to be carried, but Jotaro will consider how much his sister’s feet were throbbing. He doesn’t just put anyone on a pedestal but he will sometimes spoil her. This was one of those times. Jotaro kneels down and offers his back for her to climb on, knowing that she would be short enough to hop on. “Stop complaining and just climb up. I’ll take you back to the hotel.” Jotaro’s sister would roll her eyes and mention that she never asked him to give a piggyback ride, but she hops on anyway. The walk back was calming when female!sibling rides on his back and places her chin on his shoulder.
Jotaro would never admit it, but his little sister carries the bubbly-joy that Holly had and he had been missing some of it since the start of their trip from Japan.
However, when it came to feminine things like clothes, body-image, and even the time on the month, Jotaro would leave all that to grandpa Joseph since he has more experience around that since he has a wife and daughter. If sister!reader fidgets and Jotaro asks why, the answer scares him. “A-Ask the old man for a pad.. does it look like I carry any around? Good grief.” The poor guy just blushes and tries to forget that his little sister was growing up and no longer the little thing he had to always teach and hold hands with since they were children. From there, Joseph handles things since he’s more comfortable with ladies being sensitive to their natural changes.
You, as his little sister, are his personal stylist. Jotaro may not care for fashion but it’s not like he doesn’t care about not being dressed well. Whenever Jotaro’s still in a sleepy phase and lazily brushes his teeth, he sits down and you are given the opportunity to style his hair. He lets you kneel up behind him and brush his black hair as well as applying some gel to style it back for his hat. Jotaro doesn’t dress himself
Sister!Reader and big bro Jotaro would have lots of hypothetical what-ifs when Joseph and Avdol are discussing plans and the map. Casual hypotheticals too, especially revolving the future, school, and love. “Jotaro?” “What is it?” “How would you feel if I started dating?” “Where the hell is this coming from?” “You know I’m gonna start dating soon. Would you attend my wedding?” “.. He better treat you right. If he can’t even manage that, he can meet Star Platinum to learn that no one fucks with my sister.”
Jotaro is so care-free that sometimes he still needs to be babied. He was so used to having Holly knowing where things were, so his little sister would be the one to know where everything was. “Hey… where was my damn hat?” “Right on the chair. The left one.” He wouldn’t thank you out loud but he does appreciate you organizing things when he doesn’t bother to.
Though he may not be interested in girls at this time of his life, he does share what he wants to look for in a girl: traditional, quiet, and relaxed. But does this mean he understands how to treat a woman for a date? That’s when you step in. You teach him about women and how to talk to them from A to Z. But this isn’t a one street either. He teaches you about how to understand boys and men from what they say versus what they mean, helping you navigate through past or present misunderstandings to prevent as much heartbreak if you do start a relationship. You both agree that how men and women function during love are complicated and bizarre but communication is a key to build a strong foundation in any relationship, no matter how wild or mild it may be.
When it’s night in the dessert, he knows that a woman’s body temperature is more sensitive to the cold than a man’s. Should you shiver, Jotaro offers his uniform jacket to you and you’re gonna keep it until it gets warmer since he’ll keep insisting you need it more than him. Your brother may be stubborn for both the bad and the good.
If sibling is male, Jotaro will teach him basic self-defense to prepare for the trip. Little brother may have his own stand, but it doesn’t match to Star Platinum’s speed and strength so Jotaro pushes the agenda on the basics of martial arts. He will take no but’s or if’s. Jotaro will also test around the waters to see what you’re capable of from speed, defense, and power and he will try to teach you more from there. His plan was to amplify your strengths and help teach you how to use it in battle or combine it with another strength in your advantage if you’re in trouble.
Despite being the second sibling, you want to maintain your masculinity and pride as a growing man and Jotaro’s the one who would teach you cool tricks. You both start with his impressive cigarette technique. You don’t smoke but it would be a cool try to hold five cigarettes in your mouth without burning the roof of your mouth. You try and you’re only met with hot lips and failed attempts but Jotaro encourages you not to give in. “Don’t worry. Just practice and you’ll get it. I didn’t get it right on the first try either.”
No matter how old he is, Jotaro will find it funny to call you by inappropriate nicknames at inappropriate times. For example, you two decide to head to a coffee shop but you had to head to a bathroom so you rely on Jotaro for giving out the names for what you both ordered. Your brother orders black coffee and you order a casual latte. You return shortly after and see Jotaro holding his drink, before the barista holds up your latte and calls out “Gaylord? Gaylord, I have your latte!” Jotaro lowers his hat and smirks, trying hard not to even chuckle and he doesn’t give a single fuck that you’re glaring him with temporary intent of murder from the embarrassment stirring in you.
Jotaro will eat your food without asking sometimes. You bring some leftovers from that awesome restaurant earlier today and you leave it in the mini-fridge in the room you share with your brother, but uh oh. You head out to get some money from grandpa. After receiving some extra pocket money from Joseph, you return to snack on your leftovers and only to see the white take-out box is empty. Jotaro mentions, “Oh that. Sorry, got hungry.” You groan and let it go but you hold a promise against Jotaro that he’s gonna have to buy you your next meal at the next city you’re heading.
It was hard bonding with your older brother. You were into the next Nintendo game but Jotaro never once played a video game so you bond with Kakyoin about the latest issue. Though, this doesn’t mean Jotaro is somewhat jealous of your attention when Joseph’s busy talking with Avdol or Polnareff. So whenever you and your brother talk, you discuss things that he’s familiar of such as baseball, marine biology, and food tastes. He doesn’t talk much but it’s a good refreshing change from the silence he usually carries.
As the older brother of the family, Jotaro tries to maintain your innocence by giving you the PG version of the adult stuff. When you complain that he refuses to give you a cigarette to smoke too, Jotaro instead buys you a pack of what seems to be cigarettes. The logo, the brand, and the sound of the items shaking in the unwrapped box seem to be legitimate. You open it, clawing the plastic sheet off the small cardboard box but see the pink inside the tiny, individual rolls. Jotaro just gave you gum disguised as cigarettes. As brothers, you treat each other like assholes but with love.
However, this does’t mean you can’t prank him back either. You’re young and clever and you will put your ideas to the test. You get back at Jotaro in subtle ways, such as purposely misplacing his hat and blaming it on Iggy or throwing his pack of cigarettes away. And what’s cool? If your grandpa catches you two arguing, Joseph will always 100% take your side first since you’re the baby of the family.
You and Jotaro like to call each other out when you’re calling grandma Suzi Q on the phone. “Hi Grandmaaa! Jotaro punched a blind man today.” “What the hell? ___ just got his report card and he’s failing Japanese and Chemistry.” “Shut the hell up, dude!”
yeah, can I get uhhhhhh a scenario where Okuyasu and Jousuke's s/o falls victim to Kira and the only way they find out is by Reimi telling them that she saw their spirit?? I hope this is alright!!
DID SOMEONE SAY ANGST-
Josuke-
- After giving s/o a quick kiss on the cheek on their way to class, he’s fully expecting to meet them afterwards for their movie date after school. They were planning to rent a couple horror films, make some popcorn and snuggle (and make out during the scary parts). Josuke hadn’t been able to focus on school all day he’d been so excited. When the bell rings for him to leave he leaps out of his seat and makes a mad dash for his house, calling s/o’s house. “Hello! You’ve reached the (surname) residence, leave a message after the beep, thank you!!” huh, funny, s/o usually picks up? Ah, well, maybe something came up. He’ll try again later.
- A couple hours pass and s/o still hasn’t answered. He starts to worry something really bad might have happened, did they get sick? Either way, movie night was a bust. At school the next day, he hears from some of s/o’s other friends that s/o had apparently left school early for unknown reasons, most people chalked it up to them getting sick or something…again, odd. Josuke calls their house one more time, just to be sure, and this time their mother picks up. S/o’s mom explains that s/o hadn’t been home since yesterday, and she assumed that s/o had spent the night at Josuke’s…now the panic really starts to set in. Josuke ends up leaving early to investigate, asking people about the weird occurrences around town and if they’ve seen any shady guys. He’s sure to ask Jotaro too, telling him s/o went missing.
- Josuke’s relentlessly searching for days, the police are now involved as well. S/o seemed to have just disappeared into thin air. He hadn’t seen them since that one morning, not a single trace or clue, absolutely nothing. There’s one thought lurking in the back of his head, about a certain killer that’s hiding right under their noses in Morioh, what if…? No, they’re too smart to get caught. He doesn’t want to believe it, but as the days turn to full week, it starts becoming more and more apparent this might be the case. Jotaro recommends seeing Reimi in her alleyway straight away, only a day after s/o’s disappearance. Josuke hasn’t gone, and he doesn’t plan too unless it’s imperative he checks there. To him, checking in with Reimi about s/o is kind of like accepting that horrifying thought in the back of his mind as face. There’s just no way.
- Josuke’s been searching for nearly a week and a half, he’s nearly at the point of losing all hope. No evidence, no potential suspects, no clues, there’s just nothing. Nothing at all. A lot like a certain stand user’s way of- hge quickly shuffles any and all thoughts of s/o’s possible death out of his head. He’d been so careful, so positive they were safe. They couldn’t have, they wouldn’t have-
He felt his feet moving beyond his control, opening the door and breaking into a sprint towards a certain ghost girl’s haunted alley way, right past the grocery store and into the long winded road with the red mailbox. He pauses to catch his breath when he see’s Reimi, who turns to greet him. She smiles at first, but it’s quickly replaced by a grimace, she looks away, trying to look at anything other than Josuke. Arnold, her old house, the clouds.
“They’re gone, aren’t they?”
- Reimi nods quietly, explaining how she had seem s/o fly away into the clouds, far away from Morioh. Josuke doesn’t know how to take it. He’s just standing there in shock for a solid minute. No tears, no sobs, his worst fear had been turned into a grim reality. He nods in response, shoving his hands deep in his pockets and turning around. His eyes darkening as he leaves the alley without so much as being tempted to look back. Arriving at the front door, he puts his hand on the doorknob, turning up to look at the star filled sky. It was such a pretty night,s/o would have loved it. He sits down on the porch, putting his head in his hands, not caring about the state of how messed up his hair is going to get, and starts weeping quietly. He’s just angry. Angry at Kira for taking away s/o. Angry at life for making him meet someone so wonderful only for them to take them away. Angry at how messed up this whole situation is. Angry at himself for not protecting them.
-The rain doesn’t stop for awhile.
Okuyasu-
- Okuyasu gives s/o a firm bear hug and a kiss on their forehead before they go into the dreaded school building. They have a presentation today for their science class and he was prepared to cheer them on!!…from the other side of the school. He planned to surprise them after with some candy he got from a nice-looking store as a congratulatory gift. School buzzed by as per usual without anything odd occurring and Okuyasu sat and waited. Soon, everyone was gone from school and s/o was nowhere at all. He had probably just missed them, that’s all. Oh! You know what would be romantic? If he showed up at their door and gave it to them, that’s like, romance 101. He makes quick work of arriving to s/o’s house, knocking on the doorbell and holding the box of candy behind his back. When someone opens the door he whips out the box and holds it proudly for them to see…except it’s s/o’s father. Okuyasu apologizes for the sudden proclamation of the candy box, telling him it was meant for s/o. Their father explains that they haven’t been home yet, but they would give him a call once they got home. Okuyasu gives him the box, out of fear he might forget or lose it, so he can give it to s/o, and heads home.
- The next day he expects to see s/o in the morning to greet them, but they never show up. Huh, weird. He doesn’t think much of it, again, maybe he missed them. Come the end of the day, they’re still not around. Maybe they’re avoiding him, or they’ve got some super-secret surprise planned for them both! That’d be sweet. He isn’t thinking much of it until he overhears a couple kids wondering why s/o didn’t come to collect their project. They had gotten the highest score in the class, but left their project in the classroom, and they left it a mess to boot. That’s…incredibly peculiar. Okuyasu hangs back after school and checks around the science classroom, s/o’s project still in the back corner, and in shambles. It wasn’t just clumped up like someone had fallen on it, but almost as if that and someone had used the broken pieces to defend themselves from an unknown attacker. Random bits of plywood and cardboard were scattered among the classroom, could this have been an enemy stand? Is that why they went missing?
- S/o’s been missing for at least 3 days now, and there’s been no news of a stand user in Morioh. What’s going on? Was it Kira? Okuyasu prays it wasn’t. There’s no way it could be. He hasn’t tried to attack them before, so why would he even have motive to g after s/o? True, they’re the most perfect human in the world, like, the most beautiful and wonderful and stunning- oh god he could see why. But he couldn’t have, he wouldn’t have, not when people could notice them going missing. They must just be caught by some other user, yeah, that’s it. Still…no, he’d check in with Reimi later. He knows for a fact they’re not dead. He won’t let them die on him.
- Soon it becomes a full week and no sign of s/o, Okuyasu has been checking back with their parents everyday since their disappearance and there’s been no word. The investigation was going too slowly, the only clues he had were the crushed science project. No fingerprints or anything, even. He’s incomprehensibly worried, he didn’t want to be alone again, he wasn’t about to lose someone else important to him. His determination turns into anger and sadness, where are they? It’s been a week, he should have found the damn user by now! The sun was setting, it had been another full day without s/o, another full day of searching with nothing.
- Checking in with Reimi didn’t mean they were gone, maybe she had seen something while s/o was running from the user and happened to come across her alley. Maybe she was IN the alley, who knows? It doesn’t mean that they’re dead in any way, shape, or form. Okuyasu kicks his bike into gear and drives off towards the Ghost Girl’s alley, parking in front of the grocery store and strolling into the darkened alley. “Yo! Reimi! You in here?” He yells out into the darkness, catching a glimpse of pink gazing up at him gloomily.
“I was wondering when you would stop by.”Okuyasu is confused at her demeanor, usually she’s pretty upbeat, what did she see that ahd her so upset?“I was wonderin’ if you’ve seen s/o, I’m looking for them, see-” HE was interrupted by Reimi pointing towards the sky, a tear rolling down her cheek as her sad gaze was fixed on the ground. “I’m sorry.”
- Okuyasu laughs it off, “Hah, funny joke there Reimi, you almost had me-” but she interrupts him halfway through with a solemn look, telling him about how their spirit drifted towards the sky in a fiery explosion in the clouds. Okuyasu falls silent, perplexed at his own thoughts running together. That wasn’t possible. They were just fine, they were alive, they hadn’t died on him. Someone else he had loved too much hadn’t just disappeared. They always leave too soon, he had sworn they wouldn’t leave too. He backs out of the alley and breaks into a sprint hopping on his bike and just driving to nowhere. Tears are being ripped from his face by the wind, he won’t let himself think about their death, how they should still be here. Stopping on a nearby hill, he sits in the cold dew covered grass and completely breaks down. Why them? Why did he have to lose someone else that was all too important to him? He’s so angry and sad and confused, it’s just too much. He’s crying too much. HE knows he shouldn’t cry this much over a high school fling, but dammit they were more than that to him. They were special, they were there for him, and now they wouldn’t be anymore. He falls asleep in the grass, exhausted from his emotional breakdown and recalling s/o’s smile and how he would try and avenge it.
I wrote these at rainy, gloomy 3 am with depressing piano music can you tell lmfao

how to draw arms ? ?
holy fuck
holy fuck is right… but… does it work with legs???

This is too fucking great to not reblog
I give it MASCLES
BIG MACHO

Okay but for anyone who legit wants to know how to calculate it correctly:
The elbow joint on average rests a couple inches higher than the navel, so if you measure how long the distance is from the middle of the shoulder to that point then you have the length of the upper and fore arms!
So if anyone’s wondering about legs too, the simplest rule of thumb is that the length from the top of the leg to the knee is equal to the distance between the top of the leg and the bottom of the pectorals:
And I wanna stress that when i say “top of the leg” i’m not talking about the crotch (please don’t flag me tumblr it’s an anatomical term) i’m talking about the point where the femur connects to the pelvis, which is higher up on the hips:
It’s easier to see what I’m talking about in this photo of a man squatting:
So yeah if you use that measurement when using this technique you should get fairly realistically proportioned legs:
But remember! messing with proportions is an important and fun part of character design! Know the rules first so you can then break them however you please!
HOW THE HELL DID I FIND THIS POST OMG
I love when this post shows up.
You either follow the rules or break the rules. Just dont forget to have fun when you draw, its best to experiment and stuff 👌👌👌👌
