How do you do your nails they are beautiful

thank you so much! ok, before i do a horrible job at explaining my process...let me just say that probably the biggest reason as to why my nails look the way they do is cuz i wear fake nails. cuz with fake nails i can spend as much time as i want working on them instead of trying to awkwardly paint my real nails as fast as possible. also my real nails are short af! but anyways~before i actually paint any nails i’ll plan out the designs in my sketchbook. i try to draw things to scale to see if the design will work out or not. once i have a design i like i’ll use regular nail polish to paint the background. when the polish is dry i’ll use acrylic paints to create the actual designs. and when painting them, i’ll start off by sketching out the design onto the nail. once i’ve got the sketches done i’ll paint over them by coloring in the basic shapes. and from there i just paint in the details layer by layer. after i have that all done i’ll outline the drawings. and then finally top coat them a few times. sorry if i did a bad job at explaining how i work...but i tried! and again, thanks! i appreciate the ask!

These started off as simple galaxy nails...but I got bored while doing them. So I changed them to be Voltron themed. I actually really like how they turned out. and who knows...I might end up doing all the paladins someday
