How the Vikings would react to horror movies <preference>
Ragnar: He would most likely pretend to be the bravest person in the theater. He would often yell “This movie isn’t scary.“ and scoff. But when a jumpscare appears, he would be petrified for a few seconds before scoffing again and saying “See. Not scary at all.“
Rollo: He would actually be the bravest one in the theater. He would even become a bit bored some time during the movie and would start playing with his phone.
Floki: He would watch the movie with interest and would actually be quite into it. He would laugh from time to time and occasionally scare the person next to him when he feels that a jumpscare is about to happen.
Athelstan: He would try to brave through the movie, pretending that it’s not that interesting, but would end up scared anyway. And when someone teases him about jumping, he would say something of the sort “No, I was just getting comfortable…This movie isn’t scary at all!“ Or if he screams - “I was just yawning! You’re hearing things!“
Bjorn: He would be utterly uninterested and would play on his phone most of the time, because he doesn’t find any meaning behind scary films and they are just boring to him, but he came along because his brothers wouldn’t shut up about it. He would even fall asleep at one point, just waiting for the movie to end.
Ubbe: He would be the one to constantly comfort the person screaming next to him. He wouldn’t pay much attention to the movie, rather than comforting his brothers or friends. Or if he finds the movie interesting, he would start to constantly scold his companions if they talk or are too loud.
Hvitserk: He would be the one who sneaks food into the theater, no matter how much it is. And when someone asks him about it, he would say “No, it’s just…I’ve seemed to put on some weight lately.“ and laugh, before quickly going in. During the movie, he would talk alot about anything really, and would often be thrown out of the theater.
Sigurd: Key word: screaming. Alot of it. And throwing popcorn and spilling coke all over himself and the people around him. Literally no one is safe… And in the end he would swear to all the gods that he will never again go see a scary movie, but ends up doing it anyway.
Ivar: Talks through the entire movie and if he had seen it before, he would spoil it before it even started and would irritate most of the people in the theater. He would also take food from the people next to him without asking and would laugh loudly when something gory happens and would watch with interest and when the scene is over he would yell at the top of his lungs “That was awesome, wasn’t it!“
