Last Saturday, I heard that someone that I had one of the greatest references in what is said about current music, so suddenly died. A true revolutionary, the first time I heard SOPHIE, I just thought: oh my god, what the fuck (lol being very honest) But at the same time, that sound kept me restless and curious. How can anyone think music like that? And then when i realized, I got caught for her noisy, high-pitched, visceral sound. And since then I have always accompanied her. For me, SOPHIE synthesized what I call, cyborg music now a days, she erased the line that separates people from machine. Its sound allows me to transit between the two worlds without even feeling it. Last Saturday, SOPHIE died trying to gaze the moon. Something as human as that. RIP SOPHIE, you are not a promise, you are already a legacy. .
