pizza delivery for successorsama /closed
Her bright pink eyes stare at the other with a smile before she raised her arms up still smiling “I am the pizza! Hey there!” Roxy offers to shake the strangers hand. Hopefully this wasn’t too much and wont scare away the other. “My name is Roxy Lalonde. Nice to meet you!”
She knew this was risky since some people are not very used to someone showing up to their door posing as a pizza deliver and then to add to the plot, they claiming to be pizza. Specially since this is a place of killing. “Sorry if you were expecting pizza Lion. I am not actually pizza and hopefully cannibalism is frowned upon still in this school. If you want real pizza though I would go see if that cafeteria still has some.”
Lion wasn't sure what they had been expecting, but it certainly wasn't that. Roxy's greeting came as a shock to the young successor. She was certainly a vibrant person, but she didn't seem to have any ill intent. Probably. The cannibalism comment was a bit alarming, but it was still just a joke.
"I-I am not that fond of pizza, actually. Or cannibalism-!"
Lion cleared their throat. Composure was important, as were manners. They shook the other blonde's outstretched hand, smiling. "It's nice to meet you, Miss Lalonde. I'm Lion Ushiromiya, although you seem to already know that. Can I help you with something?"
"It’s nice meeting you as well! It’s been some time since I’ve met someone in a pleasant way like this."
Sei felt his cheeks heat up in embarrassment at the realization he had pronounced Lion’s name wrong — a fairly uncommon occurrence, even if mostly because he had always heard names before saying them himself.
Still, a bright smile formed on his face, and he gave a small nod of understanding.
As the other quieted for a moment, he did as well, looking about the room. Very empty, but much more welcoming than his — or really, any room of Oval Tower.
"Thank you! The same goes for me…" He hummed in thought. "There’s so much I could ask."
He paced around the room, looking over things and peering in drawers for no particular reason. Lots of space for storing things — it kind of made him wish he had more on him so they wouldn’t be so empty.
Eventually, he returned his gaze to look at the blonde again.
"…It doesn’t seem like too bad of a room to stay in, does it? What sort of place did you live in before coming here?"
"The feeling is mutual. These days I rarely meet people from outside the family."
Lion took a seat, watching Sei move around the room. His company was undeniably pleasant, and they couldn't help but feel relief that at least one of their roommates turned out to be polite and well-mannered.
The room itself wasn't too bad either; not much different than the dormitories at his previous high school, although not as large or well-furbished. Perhaps the three of them would be able to come on some sort of agreement on redecorating?
"It's not bad at all. It just needs a but of sprucing up, I think."
A pause. Thinking of home made Lion feel nostalgic, and they briefly wondered how their family was getting along. Jessica must have been giving mother a hard time, by now.
"I lived in my family's mansion on a small island called Rokkenjima, when I wasn't away for school. It was large, extravagant, and rather empty. What about you?"

Now that she had a pretty good idea (not really) of what was going on around here, Roxy decided to go find some people to talk to. She takes out the small map and goes to where the rooms are located. “Hmmm, who’s first?” Her eyes scan the students names on the door until she decides to pick a random one. “Leon? Lion? Leon!” Roxy taps on the door waiting for someone to answer. “Pizza delivery for a Leon.”
Obviously that was a lie since you can’t order pizza here. The blonde just wanted to make some new friends, even if some do try to kill her. Which is also fine because she can protect herself better not that the alcohol in her system will have time to wear off.
Pizza? Lion doesn't remember ordering a pizza. Certainly not, since the school was supposed to be closed off to the outside world. Perhaps the person standing outside their door was just jokinh? Or maybe they meant to lure Lion out to harm them. There was a chance, enough to put the successor on guard. Still, it's best to give strangers the benefit of the doubt.
Putting the sense of unease aside, ignoring a visitor was rude. If there is one that Lion Ushiromiya is not, it's that. With a sigh, the blonde closed their book and opened the door.
"I'm sorry but I think you're mistaken, miss. I didn't order a pizza."
Bowing? It was never something that he had to do whilst in Oval Tower, and he wasn’t so sure if he should return it or not.
With a little pause, he mimicked the other. Being rude wasn’t something Sei wanted to do, even if the movement caused a pain to shoot through his side.
"Ah, yes it is! You’re actually not interrupting at all — I was curious as to what my roommates would be like."
"I suppose you came at a very good time, because now I have the chance to learn about one… As long as that is not any trouble."
Removing his key from his pocket, he tightened his grip on it and and took a stride forward to unlock the door. Stepping in, he politely held it open for the blonde.
"I am Sei. Are you Akita or Lion?"
Lion mentally berated themself. Forgetting to introduce yourself at the start of a conversation was an amateur mistake. Still, it didn't seem like Sei noticed.
Despite his odd manner of dressing, the young man seemed very polite. Lion had a feeling they would get along quite splendidly.
"My name is Lion Ushiromiya. It is a pleasure to meet you, Sei."
There was a hint of extra emphasis on the 'Lee', although not enough to turn the tone rude. It was an easy mistake to make, considering the fact that Lion's anglophile grandfather had no idea how to spell 'Leon'. Lion was used to it by now.
They paused to examine the room. It wasn't anything like the family mansion, but it certainly wasn't a hovel either.
"If there's anything you want to know, ask away."
There he was, standing in front of his door, examining the shiny plaques engraved with the names of himself and his roommates.
He’d looked at the other ones, and they all seemed at least a little older than the ones he viewed now— more dusty, some damaged… But these ones were all new. Sparkling clean. That must have meant that his roommates were new too, didn’t it? Or very focused on cleanliness. Probably the former.
Engrossed in this realization, Sei wondered if they were just as confused about this place as he was. Would they know their way around, at least? Perhaps they would all learn together.
Absent, he didn’t even notice that he stood in the way of the entrance to one of the roommates, and only came to notice a moment or so later.
Staring blankly at them now. Had they said anything to him while he was thinking? He wasn’t sure. Maybe he should greet them… though it would probably sound out of place now. Oh well.
"…Hello."
Searching for and locating room 210 and were simple tasks. Entering the room was an entirely different animal unfortunately. There was young man standing in front of the door, and he seemed to be in the middle of something.
Lion remained silent. Interrupting would be rude and first impressions were important, after all. Especially when there was a chance of insulting someone you would have to share a room with.
Only a minute passed. Lion started when the stranger acknowledged finally acknowledged their presence. The blonde made a quick bow in greeting.
"... Pardon me. I hope I'm not interrupting anything. Is this your room as well?"
[The bear is so rude. Surely just a pinch wouldn't count as "violence against the headmaster".]
