I saw a comment recently about how Greagoir deliberately selected Cullen to kill a Warden Amell because he knew Cullen was infatuated and honestly that's really been on my mind as one of the most awful things you can do to someone and how in character it is for Greagoir and the Templar Order in general. How cruel and deliberately dehumanising to mould folk into the perfect Templar. I've been thinking about this a lot. There are layers and nuance to DAO and Cullen I'm still uncovering over a decade later.....

love it so much when ppl draw DA2 comics/fanart and they put the little blood splotch on their custom Hawke's nose (regardless of whether they usually have it in canon) to distinguish them as their Hawke, but Hawke nontheless. Perry The Platypus sort of scenario. "Oh, a Dragon Age OC?" *adds blood splotch* "HAWKE the Dragon Age OC?!"

everyone thinks varric is going to die (me included unfortunately) and he's my favourite character so this is extremely upsetting. to cope i drew some awful varrichawke angst meoww (my soul is in the depths of agony)

Why is the image of Hawke trying to be a noble so funny to me? They are definitely not known for following rules, so imagine suddenly being forced into a world filled with etiquette and conservative norms

Leandra: You have to cross your ankles when you sit.  f!Hawke: Why?  Leandra: It’s improper to potentially show your underwear.  f!Hawke: … Well it was expensive underwear, it’d be a shame if no one ever saw it Leandra: Please

Leandra: And Anders, you open the door and then let my daughter in before stepping inside, placing a hand on her back and leading her over to the table- f!Hawke: I can walk on my own.  Anders: I feel like this is very oppressive to women. Leandra: It’s just custom. Anders: She can walk on her own.  f!Hawke: I think the nobles need to get their heads out of their conservative asses and realize women can be on the same level as men. I finally finished it!

I got majorly distracted with only 2 sections of this left, and it gathered dust for a bit. But here it is! All the angst!

My Emmit Hawke, purple and unromanced. He's just very tired and never given a break, so might as well strand him in the Fade, right? (I love my Hawke, promise)

There was originally a part 2 that has a bit more of a hopeful tune to leaving him behind, but I dunno if I'll get to that. We'll see.
