I don't think rachel is the doe. I think william is. He tries to protect and help his lil girls. Chloe has this snow doe and rachel isn't connected to the snow doe in any way - but william is. The description of the doe as a spirit animal fits william more than rachel.

I don't know. If the doe is William, that makes me wonder how the doe would have known where Rachel was buried. But then again, it's a ghost doe. It doesn't need to make sense :P
