Praise God!!!
In a world where women have to work both in the home and out the home going 50/50 is not the right thing to do. Because although 50-50 sounds nice on paper in actuality, it only gives more work for women to do. Men are the providers and that's what they should be doing.
This is a phenomenon I've learnt about in sociology. Women's "emancipation" from the home did not result in being freed from domestic labour, it resulted in women juggling domestic and paid work. It's been bad for women in many ways and it's high time we stopped regarding it as an uncomplicated victory for women.
Not tradfem in a patriarchal, submissive Christian wife who always does what she's told and is the secondary, ancillary person in the relationship way, but tradfem in the 'I am the spiritual, inner-world leader while my will husband lead in the material, outer-world. I am a priestess and a hearthkeeper anchoring the love of the Hearth Goddess in to my home. My husband and I will both lead and yield to each other in different ways' way.
Sending you hugs! Homemaking and being a mother is such a hard job, please be kinder to yourself. And I hope everyone around you, especially your husband, recognises how much you do to upkeep your home a happy, welcoming place, and lets you have deserved rest 💐

Ugh it’s so difficult… 🫣 he does! He’s been very supportive during this transitioning process. I’m used to doing things for the first time and immediately working them out and most often being the best at it (school and work) but this is extremely humbling and I guess that’s what God needs me to go through because I have a huge ego lol. But thank you so much for your kind words, I always appreciate them 💕 I need to get over being a perfectionist and just let things happen.
Pmdd is just “hey, here’s a list of 50 symptoms you will experience because of me. I’ll turn you into a fucking monster. You can’t let anyone know because they’ll hate you for it. This will make you both paranoid and hyper-aware of your reality. You look ugly. And bloated. Oh and also, you wanna kill yourself about it. Even though you know it goes away in a week.” And every month I’m like “🤷♀️ you cheeky bastard you 🤪”
i need y'all to steal and repost my anti-lawn memes to as many pinterest boards and facebook pages as possible
Spread these too ✨LAWNS ARE DYING REPOST TO KILL THEM FASTER
my mom was talking to me about fireflies so here's another one to evulgate through various social media sites
Exactly.
Just maybe don't do what I did, and stand up in a common room and declare that lawns are one of the systemic evils of modern society.
We live in a rental, so we have to keep the lawn "in shape". But we also have a nice sweet spot under the window, where is a "no mower" - zone. There we let the gras grow as it want. Little bits, but better than doing nothing!
