Baked a new recipe for me from Preppy Kitchen and now it’s my new go to for peanut butter brownies. Oh wow these are tasty! And it pairs nicely with my coffee on this important day. National coffee day! 10/10 would recommend the pairing. ☕️ l

A pineapple upside down cake for my bestie for his birthday! 🎉 First attempt at one and I’m happy with how it turned out!! 🍍🍒

When your bestie gets you a Kiki outfit for your Labubu, you do a photoshoot. Toffee Kiki is featuring my Hokkaido Milk Bread loaf and a bit o’ strawberry preserves. Now to make some tea!

It’s National Blueberry Muffin Day! I don’t need an excuse to make these delicious and fluffy muffins though. A little lemon zest, fresh blueberries, and a slight crunch of sugar crystals on top? 🤤

I completely forgot to post a slice of the haupia pie from yesterday! This is what the layers look like with chocolate and then coconut! Like most pies, this one also tasted even better the next day! 🌴 🥥

#liloandstitch hit theaters today and I cannot wait to see it!! Stitch is one of my favorite little beasties and has travelled with me everywhere from New York where I got him to Hawaii where I got married! My bestie got him for me because I was scared to fly home and he’s been my plane buddy ever since! Now he’s back and showing off my haupia pie I made!

I used Sugar Geek‘s recipe and it’s delicious! Always wanted to try haupia pie! A layer of chocolate and then a layer of coconut and topped with whipped cream and roasted coconut shavings? 👌 Now we’re both gonna hone our inner tropical vibes in Memphis while listening to the King. 🏝️🍧🥥

Happy Easter! Some no bake bird’s nest cookies with mini Cadbury eggs are today’s treat around here! Think I’ll go make a cup of tea with one! 🐰 🪺 🫖

Nothing makes the house smell more warm and inviting than cinnamon! Fresh cinnamon rolls with cream cheese frosting! Used my homemade Sri Lankan vanilla extract and *chef’s kiss* Also had to show my lil crocheted Bigfoot my bestie made for me enjoying a roll too!

Sakura sugar cookies for spring! I used real cherry blossom powder and made a cup of genmaicha tea. A very lovely morning while enjoying my flowers and hummingbirds outside. 🌸

It’s national coffee cake day, but I just wanted an excuse to try out King Arthur Baking Company‘s Blueberry Buckle Coffee Cake. It’s so good! 🤤 Highly recommend!

We’re back with a bake, but specifically requested! A watercrust pastry with pot pie filling using our leftover sous vide turkey! Watercrust pastry is typically a UK way of making pastry crust and is made with boiled water and butter or lard. Makes a firmer pastry but still flaky and delicious!

Late, but did make a couple Christmas cookies for our very thoughtful neighbors. Gingerbread men, peanut butter blossoms, cornflake wreaths, and kruidnoten cookies. Hope everyone had a nice, relaxing holiday!

I had never heard of kruidnoten till recently, but learned they are a type of Dutch cookie eaten during Sinterklaas! Spiced, crispy, and delicious! I made mine a little too big, but I’ll know for next time cuz I’m making these again.

I can safely say this is my first SpongeBob cake. A very rushed job in the midst of a baking frenzy, but it’s done! #baking #cake

Strawberry Korean cream cake for the birthday girl! Well, it’s technically not her birthday yet, but we’re catching the celebrations on the weekend! A little pressed for time and energy, but I’m happy with how it turned out! So begins the baking season! 🎂 🍰

Sandwich bread: A Story. I so badly didn’t want to go to the grocery store I’d rather learn how to make it at home. 🤣 Coincidentally, happy national homemade bread day! Opted for bread flour when using this recipe because it makes the bread just a little chewier. Not bad for a first loaf! Also, yes I have not changed my tablecloth yet. Shhhh.
