Like A Walk In The Park || Open
Syo was excited to finally have free time. He had been out since morning, having jogged for awhile and then purchasing himself a smoothie as congratulations. After going home to shower he soon decided that he needed to stay outdoors the rest of the day, hoping that Ai wouldn’t hound him to give him more chores to do.
His explorations took him to the park, and he was eagerly taking in the sights and sounds since being around people was often enough to make him thrive. However, there was a particular scene that caught his eye…He could swear he recognized the man sitting on the park bench just a little ways away from where he stood.
Blue eyes squinted as he studied him; where had Syo seen him before? It wasn’t like him to be unable to place a name to a face. Though it’s not long before he finally thinks of it.
Sumeragi…Kira? Like, the one from HEAVENS?
Well, that was only a little nerve-wracking. Though from what he remembered, Kira was the one least likely to give their lives Hell…It was the other two who liked to harass STARISH and Haruka. So…For now, maybe if he pretended he hadn’t noticed the other, he wouldn’t get into too much trouble.
Kira waited for a moment and gave his phone another chance but it refused him any text or call. Sighing, he placed the newspaper that was on his lap and placed it on top of the ple of newspapers next to him. He stood up form his bench and picked up the stack of newspapers that he was going to recycle.
His arms were relaxed, his elbows tucked just above his waist while he carried the stack of newspapers that reached his chest. Walking nearer the main path, he caught a glint of yellow from the corner of his eyes. Moving his attention to the eye-catching colour, he realised that the yellow-headed person was not a complete stranger to him. One of the perks of being in business was that he was good at memorising names and faces.
Kira wasn't sure if he'd be a welcome sight to him, seeing as they were rivals after all. He figured it wouldn't hurt to at least greet him. Still holding onto the newspapers he sped up his walking pace to catch up to him. He towered over the yellow-head next to him and nodded as a greeting, hoping he felt his presence.
