made a fae/ angel OC that started from the actor au that @polarisblitzwing and I made. We keep adding extra projects in to lol. it kinda became its own thing. anyway, i loved making her outfit. Haven’t done traditional in a while.

I always panic when Forces of Nature Dark Pit is brought up in convos and I figured out why xD

It's because I really enjoyed exploring a way to [subjectively] make it work into his ideals in headcanons & for my AU Dark Pit (and ultimately, he doesn't want to stay even after fixing the problem. My free-spirted guy)

But also I would be devastated if they gave 0 reason for him joining in a potential sequel 💔

They really just threw that idea out there unexplained and disappeared

My job to extrapolate ig. Gave it to me like a fill in the blank page 🖊

Here's fic dialogue from my au DP. He takes great offense to Pit percieving him incorrectly ~

Bro has learned how to temporarily work with others to make sure he has the freedom to do what he wants later xD

Canon concept or not, I just hope Dark Pit gets to be in line with what he says & learns in KIU ~

⭐️ Random Kid Icarus Uprising Thoughts (woah) ⭐️

I think that the preface of the idea of mom palutena should not be stereotypical mom, but instead percieved as something more "unconventional" if you wanna lean in! 💫

Ex: Maybe moreso like a young adult older sibling that raised their younger sibling in some kind of way, because that's very real for some people. And there are many forms of how it happens. That kind of vibes (or for AUs, perhaps make her physically older, but still keep her personality intact!)

Palutena is so fun, silly, smart, and flawed to me. And her and Pit's friendship is already so interesting and complex when you analyze it (lots of facets - like their care, different personalities & respect, their opinions and feelings, them being god & angel, and Pit being her employee/warrior that she guides)

With the added perception of "mom" with this in mind, she would fit right in with unconventional moms like Della Duck (and Eda the Owl Lady, tbh, found family core) ~

Please watch these they are so funny xD

Any other found family type deal also works and is awesome, or in general, something that keeps their unique dynamic in tact and doesn't oversimplify!

Making things stereotypical can potentially remove a lot!

Also of note to mention that Palutena being immortal, but 22 physically throughout uprising, makes things extra unique no matter the case. Their dynamic is only found in divinity.

The only place I've really talked about this is the Twenty Five Years kiu server in the past. May as well share it here too ✨️

I'm rewatching kid icarus uprising gameplay. Man I feel right back at home! Never left, but I needed a major refresher. Maybe I'll be able to move like I did in 2022 and early 2023 (I was writing super long chapters pretty fast then! The speed dropped majorly after 2023 though. Oof)
