The cool thing about this challenge is the choice in options, so even though you're playing the same challenge as others, your Sims legacy could come out completely different!

I had a blast working with @simplyrockie to create these infographics for her Legacy Chronicles Challenge! She wanted each one to look like pages in a diary or journal, which I had a lot of fun with.

Therefore, I treat you to the Gamer's Ghoulfriends legacy challenge. A Monster High-inspired legacy challenge to show your deadication to the monsters. Now you can play as your childhood favourites to your grave's content! It only took me centuries of hesitation, thesis procrastination and a whole lot of horrific puns to write this.

Your only disadvantage is your lack of experience, oh and shocker, you trip over your loose limbs every once in a while. Consider yourself lucky that your neck is secured with bolts! Just like your friends support you, you support them by lending them a hand, or well, advice. Befitting your heritage, you have an interest in science and favour trial-and-stumble over brain food. In your free time, you enjoy cross-stitching (obviously using an embroidery hoop and not your already-sewn skin) and cooking. As your creator wonders when they’ll finally fix the rocket ship glitch, you are already on your way to becoming the next Victor Frankenstein. This is the start of your legacy!

Though as you reach adulthood, they spread their wings and leave you to lurch around on your own. You thought you favoured the company of your own kind, assumed they vividly understood being undead, but now you understand they’re the ones who left you for dead. That is until you craft a Servo: with no need for brain juice to feed off of, you program its traits and emotions and take it under your wing. Some things are worth living for, you discover: studying, reading, painting and experimenting make you feel alive. Together with your built companion, you the apocalypse of loneliness.

Yet, ignorance is bliss: your happiness is brighter than the sunlight. As an immortal, you have enough time on your hands, which you use to write bitingly cliché romance stories and Victorian poetry. You long to live the lives of your characters: finding “the one” and spending eternity together until coffins are no longer just for sleep. You sink your fangs in your characters’ necks, sucking the life out of them. Despite having no reflection, you act out your stories at your vanity. When not sleeplessly dreaming about the love of your life, you tend to the plants in your garden and gossip with your friends. Impatiently counting the centuries until you find your soulmate.

Minus a few slip-ups here and there, you sleigh into the new culture: visiting the karaoke bar with your friends, attending the local festivals, showing off your snowtastic snowboarding skills and tending to your high maintenance level at the Onsen Bathhouse, you do it all! Your most common trait might be your properness: you don’t stand for nonsense and won’t tolerate any rule-shoving. However, once you open up to people, your cold facade melts like snow in the sun. Sometimes, you even throw in a cold pun. It's a hit or miss truly, but it's a snowball you're willing to throw!

Self-assured, energetic, and fierce, that's how fellow ghouls would describe you. Your friends would compliment your deadication to them, which isn't freaky seeing your family's dynamics. Not only are you loved by your family and friends, but you are also the frightmare of many ghouls. Chasing your own tail wouldn't make ends meet, so you imprinted your name on the world. Ghouls and mansters howl your name, haunt bootique stores for your latest fashion collection and float around your Simstagram page. When you're not occupied designing drop-dead gorgeous looks, you can be found with your ghoulies, playing outdoor sports or making decor from the bone. The wolf whistle-worthy future ahead of you surely is a sweet treat!

Anyone who disrespects Sulani has you walking on shells, you do everything to upscale the place you lost your heart to. Though a successful diver might fish your heart from the bottom of the ocean, causing you to fall for them. The romance is a rocky ship on a polluted ocean, but they make you feel like a fish in the water!

Enemies are always on the lookout to sabotage your efforts and bury your success under a layer of sand. Had it not been for the watchful Eye of Horus, your crown would have been stolen long ago. You have a group of friends who would never desert you: you rule over them whilst they make you bloom like a Death Flower. However, your romantic soul longs for something more: a ghoul who deciphers the hieroglyphs, looks past the layers of cloth and discovers your heart of gold. You would not allow the Scarab Beetles to feast on them. Together with the lucky ghoul, you unravel the future!

When nearing the end of your teenage years, life grabs you by the collar: whether you decide to wander off on your own or it’s your parent whiskering you away, suddenly your tag no longer holds an address to it. But you stay pawsitive you’re ambitious and roam around the streets with a straightened tail. On your adventure, your purrsonality develops: you serve in function of your needs, purr fakely at ghouls that call you their friend. You feel infurior until you harshly land on your feet. Standing in front of you is the feline that granted you nine lives, your biological parent. Whether you allow them in your life is something you need to scratch your head about, but you clearly got your purrsonality from them. On that same adventure, you meet someone worth risking one of your nine lives for…., if you had nine of them left in the first place.

The label “plant monster” doesn’t sound as frightening as it looks. Your eco punk look has flowers and ghouls turning their heads towards you: with vines and thorny stems as jewellery, dual-coloured hair as eyecatcher and floral prints everywhere. Something about you that gives fellow ghouls the creeps are your contrasting personas: they differ like trick or treat. On one leaf, you are an erratic party monster who rocks the night away with a glass of boos. On the other, you are down-to-soil, energetic and tend to yourself like you’re a flower garden. Whichever persona flourishes, your love for nature never withers. You are freakishly devoted to saving the environment, especially the flora. Since nature is your home, you’d do anything to save it from turning into a graveyard. One way you do so is by spreading awareness amongst fellow ghouls, even though they don’t always have the brains to comprehend. Your passion for flora might be slightly poisonous, making ghouls turn in their graves. But as your parent always meowed, “be a flower, not a weed”, so you befriend flowers and bloom!

Everything between your birth and death is something you are as silent as a grave about, a mystery you don’t plan on treating other ghouls with. When asked, you construct a hauntingly bootiful history that you might start believing yourself. You’re a floating mystery: reclusive, constantly whispering conspiracies to yourself, sugarcoating your life & benefiting from your mysterious aura to watch ghost stories unfold in front of your eyes. Your spectracular way with tricks and treats allowed you to become a ghostly gossip writer at Walrus Books until zombodie revealed your identity and killed your reputation in the process. Publish the books you write but stay out of the spotlight.
Write the “Book of life”.
Receive a ghost trait upon death (death of choice or autonomously).
Be resurrected by your spouse or child(ren) using the Book of Life, Ambrosia or the Whispering Wishing Well.
Live a secluded lifestyle: live in a spectracular house that looks like it might attract visitors, but don’t allow anyone else but household members, friends and/or services in. Have all doors locked for anyone but household members.
