You know the best thing about the internet is when you do time jokes like this, in any medium, there will be at least one person on the internet somewhere who will just remember that joke until they can make it go full circle no matter how long it takes

The interesting linguistic thing is, at least based on my attempted lip reading, I think she says "two thousand twenty three" rather than "twenty twenty three" which is how we say it now. Because in the 2000s people were used to saying years as "two thousand seven" rather than "twenty oh seven". So the way she verbalizes the number actually dates the episode!

Best thing I’ve learnt so far is that everything is all about perspective. I’ve spent the past few weeks believing one of my new lecturers(new to my lecture group only) is not good at sharing the knowledge he obviously possesses. Because of this, I missed his classes and other additional classes in other courses because they would be scheduled after his. I looked up a few tips on how to improve academically and first tip was attending class and applying myself in class. I decided to try to apply myself during his class and see what i could get out of it. I have learnt so much. He’s actually funny, has a decent sense of humor, very intelligent and knows his stuff. He has his downs yes, but overall it’s all on me because I had higher expectations because of my previous lecturer.

All in all, I changed my perspective and everything is fine. I even feel guilty for how far behind I fell in my academics and I’m trying to forgive myself for that. Too bad it took so long for me to do better. At the end of the day, complaints about the lecturer will not appear on my grade report.😂
