okay i don’t know how she did it, but taylor wrote one of the most heartbreaking songs about falling in love with the person you think you’re meant to be with and then watching them fall out of love with you while you still are completely enamoured by them. and then say that you can get over that because you deserve more than just being second choice, but it’s gonna hurt like hell. it’ll feel like you’re dying when you’re going through it, but after it’ll feel like a beautiful day and i think that’s why tolerate it may be one of her best songs to date
