ACHERON - Fables About the Stars Part 2
the fate of the universe depending on these 5 people with combined 99 mental illnesses is kinda insane
when you think it about it the core message of hsr is that even when the end of the world is inevitable, it’s childish to surrender to its fate and think you’re righteous for accelerating it (destruction) bc what ultimately matters is the friends we made along the way (trailblaze)
was thinking about how this could be a reference to the four horsemen of the apocalypse, and tried to guess who the other 3 aeons might be. we know for a fact that nanook is one, which imo would resemble war (they view war as “the only common language across intelligent life” and in principle it aligns with the path of destruction). pestilence could be yaoshi, which might feel contradictory but the fact that their elixirs are curses in disguise and they are also referred to as “plagues author” kinda fits. if we’re going with xianzhou’s calamity aeons, the other aeon would be tayzzyronth, and i think they would align with famine the most considering they take away resources of various planets at their height. but then i was thinking hooh could be an alternative, which again sounds contradictory but the scale carried by the famine horseman is basically a symbol of equilibrium, and when you think of equilibrium as a state of maximum entropy you could make sense of hooh as one of the harbingers of finality. lastly death would be ix i think. this one’s pretty easy to compare with how ix represents the end of meaning and existence which essentially how death can be defined as.

But the bottom line is, the person who restored my faith in the world and convinced me there were things still worth fighting for…is you, Kiana.
