hey guys! there are a lot of posts with links to different organizations in need of donations circulating at the moment, but i’d thought i’d share brotherhood united wellness network since i hadn’t seen them mentioned. they’re an african-american focused wellness center based in Indianapolis that provides everything from HIV/STD screening and awareness to LGBTQ+ youth advocacy and support. they’ve remained active throughout the pandemic and continue to offer support in light of the Indy riots!

Introducing the loves of my lives: ♡The Pendragon’s♡  ✧*⋆ generation 01 ✧*⋆

 but the basics are:

Athena’s the founder and the loml. Orion’s really cool and a total dad. The toddler’s were whoospie triplets. Ares and Persephone are twins. And Aphrodite is technically only a half sibling to them.  [I hold so much love for the family, so I’d love it if you read my fun facts about them. They don’t really have a story but the one’s they end up having in my gameplay. They’re not characters to me really, they’re my sim babies that I’m emotionally attached too and will cry about more than I already do as even more time goes on.] TL;DR: I finally love the sims like I used to.

Fun Facts!!! -All names are either gods/goddesses or space/constellation related!  -When I run out of the above, I’m turning to nature themes! -Venus, Lyra, and Athens were a complete accident AND my first ever triplet birth in the sims. LIKE EVER!  -Aphrodite has a different father but Orion fell in love with her and her mother so that has always been her true father. She also aims to become an engineer. -Persephone is kind of a bully with big dreams of becoming a famous actress, better than Judith Ward.  -Athena’s a painter currently and aims to complete her artistic dreams before her chef ones in her adulthood! -Orion’s a secret agent who aims to go to space someday to figure out the mysteries there too.  -Ares is like the edgy kid who in Horton Hears A Who, and I’m keeping that aesthetic with him forever.  -Venus is a. Complete. Absolute. Cat. Addict. And I see her becoming a comedian in the future.  -Athens thinks he’s hot shit even as a toddler, I love my mods. -Lyra is a HOT MESS with a soft spot in her heart for bugs.

Okay so I just saw the PARAFOLK REVEAL, and can I just say I had a visceral reaction and my whole family was done with me!!  Before I go into how excited I am for the game, I wanted to state I still adore the sims. They’re holding two different places in my heart, and I put absolutely no expectations on either anymore because you never know what you get. I also believe it’s wrong to be putting SIMS expectations on PARALIVES. Two completely different things even though they reside in the simulation category!! 

BUT I AM SO BEYOND EXCITED! Every single thing about the paramaker completely blew me away. A four person team is working on this!!! I am just so amazed, and after in depth reviewing everything we’ve so far seen, they’re gonna DELIVER. But that’s just my own personal opinion and I merely wanted to share my absolute excitement and love for Paralives. IF YOU DONT THINK YOU SHOULD SUPPORT THEIR PATREON, RETHINK IT!!! DEEP DIVE INTO IT! The gameplay and character AI is probably what’s gonna take so long for it to be released and that’s because they’re so passionate about it and they’re so definitely gonna deliver in my world okay!
