Can you elaborate on Romeo searching for a cure? I might have missed that part
Hello, Anon!
Who Killed Robin? Act II - Chapter 11
So it wasn't really just Romeo. Hyde's mostly the one working on the cure (since anomalous biology is his expertise) but Romeo's the one who went on secret special missions to provide Hyde with field data and such.
They haven't explained much on what exactly Taiga's "little issue" is but it's probably related to his compulsion on eating anomalies. Might be related to addiction too since it strucked a nerve with Taiga when Hyde joked about it.
Now that I look at these Tokyo Debunkitties again, every House seems to have its captain and vice-captain in the center. But that is not the case for Frostheim and Obscuary.
Was it because they wanted Tohma and Ed looking at us? Even if that was the reason, they still could have placed the captain and vice-captain kitties in the middle.
Mortkranken only has two ghouls, so there is not much to say about them. Still, I find it odd that they did not put the captain cat in the middle for Frostheim and Obscuary like they did for the other Houses.
Saw this was trending earlier so i came to make one for my fav..
The concept actually fits Taiga more but..... I want to draw Lulu
I would like to see Romeo w blood... Like i think he always let others do the dirty thing for him cuz he dislikes the mess later, he is also a sniper who keeps himself away from blood
Sometimes I try and imagine like. How characters could have met before coming to Darkwick. And obviously there's the usual things like going to school together, being raised nearby, etc.
But then I thought
Jin's the son of the President of the Japan branch of the Anomalous Investigation Institute and Cabinet Secretary of Japan.
Maybe at some point he had to attend an event and his father wanted them to have new suits
So they reached out to the Lucci family. And either Jin and his family flew to Italy or Romeo and his family flew to Japan to work on this for a while and they met that way, Romeo working on Jin's suit personally because "they have a son about your age!"
Younger Romeo adjusting the suit on younger Jin. . .they're talking in a very friendly way both very charismatic and accustomed to high society social norms but also being closer in age testing the waters and oh I can just chill around you a little more okay cool
Younger Jin complaining to younger Romeo about his father making them come all the way out here just for this and how he can't stand him and Romeo's laughing along, chatting with him and sincerely interested while he adjusts everything to make it fit perfectly because, hey, it's his job
And Jin decides to flirt a little bit like yeah it sucks that he had to come all the way out here but he did meet this really pretty guy. . . .
I just wanted to know what your opinion is on what an interaction between Jin and Romeo would be like? Do you think Romeo would be somewhat familiar with Jin like he is with Rui? Or would he have more of a fawning response like with Hyde?
Personally, I think Jin has too abrasive of a personality for it to be the latter but idk
Hello anon! My day was a bit frustrating but it rounded out to being fine!
I have headcanons on this from back when I actively rped romeo lmaooo
I think it would depend on when the interaction took place and obviously the purpose for the interaction. Pre-Clash Jin was a different person than post-Clash. And we know Romeo does not like Frostheim, at least not it's gen students. We also know that Romeo, prsctically by his own admission, does not find smart men as attractive as dumb ones lol although /gestures at taiga) they're never off the table.
I think Romeo and Jin, at present, would only interact out of necessity, regardless of any previous relationship. They would be mostly businesslike, albeit cold, and get pretty sassy with each other at the first hint of disagreement lmao. These days they definitely don't get along, although I suspect they used to since Romeo seemed so familiar with Yuri's depsrture from Frostheim.
Between that and that Romeo probably used to want to be part of Frostheim(and some part of him still does, see: wearing Kaito's broach) I think that in their first year Romeo might have tried to seduce him or at least get on his good side, and they ended up getting along well, especially since Romeo would have wanted to transfer. Especially with the addition of Yuri the next year, they probably would have been a trio of the campus's sassiest and prettiest men lmao
But. They've since fallen apart for a few reasons--Romeo missing so much of the Clash so he doesn't really know the hardships everyone else went through or what changed Jin as much and Jin/Frostheim just allowing Tohma in with no fuss just because he claims to have turned over a new leaf(whereas I imagine Romeo may have been advised against transferring because Jin knew how badly the gen students talked about him and he didn't want his friend to go through that) I imagine were some issues for both of them.
Basically, I think Romeo and Jin's relationship looks a lot like Romeo and Yuri's relationship, except Jin isn't remotely as reactive and emotionally volatile as Yuri lol. And
I think Romeo fawns over Hyde because Hyde is into that lmao he'd try and see what works on Jin in terms of seduction(Jin would find this funny whether or not he managed to seduce him) but these days he wouldn't try again. Maybe he used to want things from him but he's burned that bridge.
More headcanony shippy yapping under the cut lol
Tohma was let in for swearing fealty and Romeo thinks Jin maybe lied about enjoying his company and they were never really friends, Jin just saw him as a stray cat that needed to be treated and tricked into being brought into the house. He thinks Jin wants him to be reliant on him and to obey him and that must be the only reason he kept him around. "You can join Frostheim if you lower yourself and serve me" is what Tohma's transfer reads as to Romeo, and Romeo will play pet for fun for a while if he benefits from it sure but he's not going to abandon himself and his pride like that. He doesn't need Jin and he certainly won't put himself in a position where if Jin dropped him he wouldn't survive the fall. He's already fallen once. He used to want things from Jin, happily accept gifts because Jin has money and taste and that's how he knows to show his affection and Romeo won't say no to nice things. These days he doesn't want anything from him lol it feels like a trick. Like a debt waiting to happen.
On Jin's part I imagine that while he kind of resents Romeo for avoiding the worst of it all, Romeo was still very much his friend and someone he trusted and liked, same as Yuri. But Romeo's kind of soft and he didn't want him to have to live somewhere that he would be surrounded by people shittalking him in earshot(plus Romeo and Taiga used to be nigh inseperable, he wasn't trying to take Romeo from someone who clearly mattered so much to him and vice versa.) So he told him not to transfer to Frostheim but they were still friends. Like Tohma said, Jin's actually a bit on the nice side, probably especially pre-Clash when he was more charismatic haha. But he can't convince Romeo that he doesn't look down on him any more than he looks down on everybody and thay he wasn't trying to make him into a servant or anything like that. Especially in his current depressed state haha he just. Doesn't have the energy or will and there are more important things and the bridge looks pretty burned so why bother. At least Romeo didn't betray him like Yuri did. Maybe they can make uo after graduation or something.
Rest assured in my headcanon they have 100% fucked lol maybe not in response to the seduction because Jin wanted to be sure it was something Romeo actually like Was Interested In Doing, but they fucked a couple times. And Romeo may or may not have had a little crush on Jin. Imagined himself transferring and since Jin is King Of Frostheim wouldn't he make such a great queen figure? uwu He even designed himself a Frostheim house outfit to match Jin's, and it's buried in a fashion designing sketchbook of his somewhere--he's proud of his skill so he doesn't wanna get rid of it but it's embarassing and upsetting to look back on it and think of how stupid he thinks he must have been, letting himself believe Jin actually liked him lol
(None of this interferes with his relationship with Taiga, mind. Plus Taiga loves the cuck chair when Romeo's the one he gets to see cheating on him! And monogamy is for the birds anyway ✌🏾)
After playing Seal's recent tag game, I was curious to see if the website had any templates for TKDB. Lo and behold. Play HERE
No pressure tags (^.^) : @tillichan @junevnti @rinthelordofbean @sweetlikevanilaaa
Some notes:
First chosen character - I don't play the game, so I put my first fav character (Tohma) in this box.
Fav design - It was a close fight between Romeo and Jiro, but Romeo won in the end with the power of lower lashes.
Best cards - Every Elias card I've seen blew me away. But I must note that it's easier for Elias (and the other Dionysia boys) to make it into this box when they have so few cards compared to the other characters, in the most developed art style no less.
Favourite in terms of story - Haku is so mysterious and interesting. He's my top candidate for the ghoul traitor, so I'm really eager to see where the story takes him.
Side Note: My first chosen character actually would’ve been Leo since I thought he was pretty but I was talked out of it by my friend so I chose Lyca instead XD
Got permission and was impressed by dis whole rb from @danieyells BUT WHAT A SHAME I COULDNT REBLOG IT— hhh so got a screenshot so everyone enjoy this with me 🥺🥺🥺🫵🫵🫵😋
Someone have successfully deciphered what Kyklos said at the beginning of Who Killed Robin? Act II! I'll try to explain as best as I can but please do note that I'm just relaying the information.
Full credit goes to the brilliant mind of Fujino-san on Twitter! You can read/retweet the related post in question here.
First, I want you to see how Kyklos' lines are written in the original Japanese text. I'll also attach the English version for comparison.
Have you ever downloaded any text file in Japanese but when you opened it, they're all garbled, undecipherable text? That's most likely because the original JP text is encoded using Shift JIS and your computer couldn't read it一as most non-Japanese device do.
Kyklos' lines in Japanese are actually the result of an SJIS (old, deprecated) decoder trying to read a UTF-8 (modern) encoded string thus, it resulted in a garbled text. All you have to do is convert them back into the UTF-8 encoding and it will be readable. Here is the result, courtesy to Fujino-san:
English translation:
Guider: Oh, dear Master ......Can you hear my voice? I have brought you the Queen.
※ I translated 案内人 directly as it is but I'm not very sure if I capture the nuance right. "Guider" here is as in a navigator, an escort, the person who can guide you from one place to another.
Fujino-san had also confirmed that the displayed text on the English version is simply the result of trying to open an SJIS encoded text on a non-Japanese PC. So it's not the result of JP text → EN translation → garbled text, they're both actually encrypting the same Japanese text! Simply put:
JP → UTF-8 encoded text being opened as SJIS
EN → opening an SJIS encoded text on a computer outside Japan
Below is my personal thoughts regarding this revelation:
All this time we all thought that Kyklos is the last boss. That she is THE Big Bad and, in a way, MC's "goal". But now that we know she's basically just an escort and there's the existence of a "Master", this opened up to new possibilities. We used to wonder why would the Kyklos cursed MC in the first place and now we have a tiny bit of light to this. The Kyklos is working for someone else but... just who is this entity that the Kyklos refers to as her "Master"?
The way the shadows started clapping at MC's arrival, how the Kyklos spoke as if addressing a royalty... How is MC the "Queen"? Who (or perhaps "what") is supposed to be her subjects?
After recontextualizing the situation, I thought the cut off word is "She"一like when you capitalize the pronouns of higher/divine beings. But the cut off JP word is "シ" (shi, in Katakana) and I'm not sure if "Here stands She" is correct grammarly anyway so I think I was off base. Still, due to the capitalization in English, I'd like to think that it either stands for a name or perhaps a title.
To end this post, I'll bring up how Fujino-san pointed out that some of the compounds of the garbled text could form the word "Kusanagi" (highlighted below). It's probably just a coincidence一as Fujino-san admitted as well一but it's still quite an astonishing coincidence if true. Just as astonishing as how the date when MC were cursed is also the night of a new moon.
