I hate to ask, I’ve been trying so hard not to make a money post, but my dad’s dying. Brought him back from the hospital and he’s in home hospice for what little time he has left. It’s wearing the family thin and my sister’s been spending all her money making sure our mom is comfortable and has food, since her mind is all over the place.

We’ve gotta make a trip back to Columbus for a couple days and then come back to stay until the worst happens. I had to pause and cancel my commissions because I just can’t mentally do anything, my heart is in a million pieces and I’ve been calling family for my mom.

If anyone can spare a few dollars so we can make the 8 hour round trip, I’d really appreciate it. I’ll try to crank out doodles when I’m not a million miles away in my own head.

I hate to reblog this again because I thought I wouldn’t need to really, but I had to come home about two weeks ago due to a health emergency on my part and I thought I’d be okay to wait to go home until this weekend but dad’s been moved to hospice. He was under hospice care at home for the past month and he was doing pretty well until three days ago. Now his nurse says he’s got a day, maybe two, and I wanna be home to help mom. I won’t go into details unless someone wants to ask for believabilities sake, though at this point I’d just point you towards my Twitter.

My sister has to drive up to bring me down and she just rented an apartment, so she could stay there once dad passes, and we’re all very short on cash. First of the month is always the most bill heavy.

And I just want to say thank you for helping me when I first posted this. I meant to say this before now but I’ve been all over the place mentally, emotionally, and even physically. Still, thank you so much.
