I go by any pronouns but I prefer if you use She/They for me.

To close his eyes, not only was his prince his first thought but his last as well. Don’t even mention how D3rlord3 would probably be alone for a while before people noticed that he isn’t alive, cause of how he was STUCK in his room. Very likely Avery was his first and last friend, one that he knew more well than anyone else.

A semi canon thing in my mind is that not only did he get attached to Avery but because D3rlord3 lost everything already possibly a burned out star student he knew he rather die not losing the last thing he has in the world, plus that Avery most likely would have people in his life unlike D3rlord3, cause every character is complex in their own beautiful way and well written in a mindset and psychological way!! >_<
