literally celebrated ralsei being a hater bc one he deserves to get mad at SOMETHING and 2 i hated flowery too up until THAT point

the funny thing is, i had my status set to "THE GOLDEN FLOWER DIES TODAY" while i was trying to beat him (my stubbornness gets the best of me sometimes, alongside my hatred)

aaannndd then the shit with the Knight happened..

i proceeded to change my status to "NOT WHAT I MEANT BY THE FLOWER DIES TODAY" lol.. because i didnt want it like THAT..

similar reaction i had to berdly where i found him annoying up until the weird route was brought to my attention and then i went "oh!.. i think i didnt hate him THAT much in retrospect.."

though i still think flowery is annoying and a condescending, manipulative jerk !!

it is splatoon's 11th anniversary so here's a baby rem !!!

i'll be honest, this one is a little rushed ^×^` ` iii did not know splatoon's anniversary was today, so i wanted to at least have SOMETHING up here..

YAPPING vv

So i got a switch around 2017, weirdly close to launch. It was shared until my little brother and i received our own, courtesy of my father (probably a peace offering lol, he wasnt there most of the time). My mom got Splatoon 2 and BotW pretty soon after. I played the SHIT out of Splatoon 2; I LOVED Off the Hook (love you marina, my icon) and, when i found out about Octo Expansion, i convinced my father to purchase it for me despite him being on the complete opposite coast. I also played THE SHIT out of Octo Expansion, loved it as well, and replayed it when my save data was wiped as a result of a factory reset of my switch (admittedly, i speedrunned OE because i wanted to play as an octo SO BAD).

I liked playing as an inkling for the majority of my time in splat2, and i was happy with it. HOWEVER, when the DLC was announced in game my eyes lit up because.. CURLY HAIR !!!

I LOVED feeling represented in terms of hair type, and it made my player character feel more like..me..in a sense. The limited hairstyles was a pain, but i was giddy at the opportunity to have SOMETHING.

THAT'S WHY I LOVE THE OCTOLINGS SO MUCH !!! i have such an attachment to them and they have been suuper influential to little 8 year old me playing funny squid game.

i've gotten back into the game, mostly for casual things, but im also planning on getting the firework cane thing permanently.

i remembered this thing where older men in china will fold a piece of paper into a square and tie it to a piece of string and attract butterflies by waving it in a certain way. It reminded me of my little light guy, who is a butterfly shepherd !!

i might make some tomodachi-related drawings, but i am gonna be a busy little boy for a bit what with artfight looming over my head AND being on my final prep/exam grind.. overall everything has been kind of A LOT ehehehe ^×^` ` `
