question for YR fic authors: are you using some type of anti-AI tags or some other way to mark your works as human-written on ao3?

Fanfiction not being written by AI is a standard. A baseline. People who use it should tag it, not everyone else. Let's not change status quo 👏

Besides, people lie. If we make it a standard to add a "no ai" tag, you think sloppers will not use it? They will. Most of them will lie to your face until caught red-handed.

Love story is so not giving that I start to think Jonathan was just so eager for attention he fell in love with the first ekon lady he met. Why would she like him is beyond me

While people discuss leading actors' performances (which are great no notes) I just want to say JOSEPH POTTER THE ACTOR YOU ARE. It is insane how good he is. I wish we could have a bigger main cast AND longer seasons because what do you mean they find absolutely stunning incredibly talented actors for like 20 minutes of screentime at best

On today's episode of random stuff

Isn't it wonderful that having a hunting dog is a great excuse for a male character to have a pet he absolutely adores. Like. That spaniel who sleeps on the softest cushion and eats from a silver platter? Oh yeah totally is there for hunting. No other reason

Perhaps the reason I can draw parallels between Ronan and Lazare AND Simon and August is not just rooted in the fact that their character's philosophies match (kinda)

No i think it's also the fact that Mathieu and Malte were about to play the main "fils de paysan" love interest BUT ended up playing a kind of antagonist (which both of them are not, they're rather part of the system). And who got to be the main love interest? The cutie.

It's such a pleasure to know The Vampire Lestat is not afraid of being as weird as the books were. In the age of sanitised media and young people going neo-puritan, it's truly refreshing.

It's also hella funny.

This show gives me the EXACT feeling I had while reading The Body Thief. I hate it. And it's a good thing.
