I keep finding things way too late. I was watching a fan-made video with one of my fav ships, and they had a series on yt and I just learned that their account got terminated like a day ago? sucks man

So somehow I ended up reading two webnovels with two of the most tragic mc's I have ever known, both by accident! Also, one has no romantic relationships while the other does have one, but both of their main focuses are action fantasy, so I think there is a trend? idk.

At 12, the early months were fine.

The presentations I made were mine and mine alone,

And I was proud.

I had friends,

As close as they could be,

And I had a hope for better days

At 12, the summer was better

I met someone at pottery.

They are my platonic other half.

Even now, 

I'd regret it if I hadn't went to camp that week

But at the same time,

I had to watch over my brother,

And he became a laughing stock.

I didn't like that,

It was terrible.

The days were sunny though, 

and me and L and J,

Two of my best friends still, 

And talked all the time.

It was the better days I had hoped for.

At 12, the last months were hard.

I couldn't focus,

And my assignments didn't feel like my own

My friends felt colder

As if the weather influenced their behavior.

At least I still have my writing and my new friend.

Though I might lose her soon.

And now,

For the second time in a row, 

I am stuck on a car as we make our way back home on this bumpy

And slippery highway

With the blinding winter sun.

When you had brandished a sword

But now it’s another smile 

One that you swore to protect.

One you promised to love.

And now their face will remain forever in this face

I might post it when i'm done all

or at least spring and summer to wish the winter away (I live in North America and it's getting cold here, send help :D)

my talent is like a gun to glass

it fires when i try to do something

and leaves me with cuts all over.

left with all these wounds

and i was never able to see them close.

talent was always a two edged knife,
