Eternal Father, I offer Thee the wounds of our Lord Jesus Christ to heal the wounds of our souls.
My Jesus, pardon and mercy through the merits of Thy holy wounds!

i don’t even need to know the context of this drawing
pussy game so strong it scared the devil
no but literally that is what is happening, there have been long periods of western history where spirits were said t be frightened by the site of lady business. Sailor’s wives used to flash their husbands ships (mind you this was a time before underwear so you just lifted your petticoats and BAM) in order to scare away the spirits and devils that made storms. A woman could flash her crops to keep away spirits that might ruin them. This was also back when the vagoo was seen as something taboo and horrible so literally looking directly at some labia was thought to be so scary the devil would poop himself. Misogyny so intense it gave the pussy superpowers.

Oh yeah, this thing!
I believe the original illustration is from an English folktale about a farmer’s wife who wards off/tricks the Devil out of her home. I’ll try to find the original source, but if I remember correctly, she offers to show him something even more terrible than he is to make him leave. You can read it as intense misogyny out of disgust, but I’ve also read it from the angle of misogyny out of fear, that here was something so powerful and beyond his control that it was terrible to him - that is, a creative power that he would never have, and never be able to equal, because the Devil cannot make anything new, just corrupt and steal what already exists.
And the best thing? This is not the only culture this shows up in. The ancient Greeks had ana syrma, a cheeky good luck charm who lifted her skirts to make a goddess laugh and ward off evil. Sheela na gigs show up in old churches around the UK and Ireland, holding open gaping vulvas. No one knows their exact origin, but their inclusion and placement on Christian churches indicates that they are meant to scare off evil. There is a Chinese legend about a city being defended by only the women who were left, and of the invading army sheepishly turning back when the women all lifted their skirts on the city walls and shaming them.
I’ve got a whole unfinished article on the historical power of the vulva exposed in anger. Maybe I should get back on that …
I mean Satan and the Devil is the father of misogyny : Satan has enmity with women ± envy Gods creative powers mirrored in the female body as a gift to us (Genesis) so its not unbiblical even lol
the root of misogyny is always fear and envy….the disgust factor is a symptom of misogynists trying to project the disgust they feel for themselves onto women to make themselves feel better +superior
Good points. Forces of evil hate women because we are the gateway through which more humans enter the world.
i am delighted to inform you of the existence of the Rosefinch, which is a real actual bird that exists!

Just a couple years ago (2017, 2018) I was looking for jobs in my area and seeing listing like “$11 an hour, must have college degree”. Now I’m seeing every business in town practically begging for employees and the other day, I overhear a woman at the salon complaining about horrible it is that she might not be able to keep her business open because no one wants to work for less than $17 and people today are so lazy and blah blah. It’s like cool, get fucked, I hope your business fails. Every time I turn on the radio and hear economists musing about what the fuck could possibly be going on with the American economy and the unemployment, why isn’t the public behaving, etc. It’s like idk man, but maybe people are just sick and tired of this absolute world of shit. Maybe this is a quiet resistance to an economy built on permanent poverty.
Also it’s disgusting how many internships want you to work for free. For example, go to the Chegg Internships database and search for internships. Then uncheck “unpaid” to get rid of the internships that expect you to work for free. More than 90% of the internships will disappear. This is even true for internships that require a college degree (I’m not sorry, but I didn’t spend 4 years getting an education so that I can get paid $0 an hour).
Oh but it’s valuable because then you get EXPERIENCE. One of the requirements of the degree I used to be working toward was an unpaid internship.
If only more people understood that it's possible to gain experience while being paid for your labor. Seriously, every job provides experience but that doesn't mean people shouldn't get paid.
And yeah I had to complete an unpaid internship too.
Yoooo your blog is pretty and you seem cool
Thaaank you 😻 I'm happy to receive my first compliment on Tumblr, like seriously I'm a nobody on here, so it's very appreciated!
I take you on a tour of my house but every room looks like this
Good work everyone but especially you two
