this is not a studyblr post, but i went to [deoksugung] a few days ago and wanted to show it off to the world ✨

[deoksugung] is one of the ‘five grand palaces’ of seoul, and is famous for its unique blend of western and traditional buildings! it is right in the heart of seoul, and when you enter, it is like you entered a different world. it is so peaceful and lovely to take a walk around. it is sad that, like many of the other palaces in seoul, only a few buildings remain as most of them were destroyed during the colonial period. but it is still a very beautiful place to visit in seoul! ♥️

hullo! i did not post consecutively because i was feeling quite unproductive the past few days but today was a bit better!✨ i did my reading and reading response for my geography class (it took a long time because the article was so long), some readings for my international studies course, and worked on my italian homework! i also downloaded a goodnotes diary template that is so aesthetic (by A-Hong on yt) and wrote a bit! i am not that used to digital diaries so we shall see if i continue using it 🤔

I forgot to post this and now it is the next day, but it is still the 30th somewhere in the world so. hullo! I got some of the readings done for my sociology class and my media production class, went to italian class, took a quiz and met with two of my friends to speak in italian today (@samanthropologist). I didn’t get as much work done as I wanted to because I was just so sleepy but hope to get more done tomorrow ✨ (or technically today but my day starts at around 6pm and ends at 11am these days)

Today was a bit of a slow and unproductive day, to be honest. I didn’t get much work done during the day because my mom took a day off from work and I just lazed around with her. I did start reading the articles for my geography course at 5 AM tomorrow though! That class is so interesting despite the fact I have to pull allnighters to attend it. I really enjoy the topics covered so far because it is really expanding my knowledge on the environment and how humans are affecting the ecosystem. I have class in t-2 minutes but here’s to hoping I will get some sleep within the next 6 hours, cheers!

good evening y’all! it’s been a long day. i woke up bright and early to meet with my italian professor (along w/ the lovely @sunsetbhy) to practice italian, then had 3 hours more of zoom class! fun fun

then i worked through the last of my readings for the week, started taking some cornell-style geography notes, submitted a [somewhat impromptu] speech for my communications class, and finished with archaeology reading questions! hope everyone had a good day 💫

photo: strawberry latte I made today with leftover strawberries from yesterday and a stack of aesthetic hardcover books I found at a bookstore a while ago!

It is technically now 46 minutes into Jan 28 in Korea, but i am running half on US time so, eh. Hope y’all are having a good day ୧( “̮ )୨✧

Today was a very very long I pulled an all-nighter because I did not want to fall asleep 20 minutes before my 5 am class like I did last week and miss class again. I did nap for 4 hours in the afternoon though! I also went to my Italian professors’ office hours with @samanthropologist just now to practice speaking in Italian and had so much fun! Now I just need to finish up my Italian notes, read some readings for my sociology class and I will be done for the day! ✨

Hello! Today has been a very long day for me. I had Italian at 12 AM, took a nap, and then attended an Italian Conversation session and another class from 5 to 10 AM. Perks of studying online with a 14 hour time difference, I guess! 🤦🏻‍♀️ My 7 am media course is really cool though—we will have award-winning journalists as guest speakers starting next week!

Anyways, I am hoping my second nap, second cup of coffee, and strawberries will help me stay awake and finish all my readings and assignments I need to finish...! ✨

I love listening to music, reading books and manga, watching movies and documentaries on Netflix, and going to cafes to study!

I love stationery! I love stickers, diaries, masking tapes, pens, memos and everything stationery. I make stickers in my free time and love going to cute stationery shops and design studios. I live and breathe for stationery and everything cute 🥰 (I own 2 study planners, 1 tri-monthly journal and a mini ‘archive’ note just for 2021)

I love art and photography—I enjoy going to museums, art exhibitions and galleries in my free time.

📚 Academics

I am still trying to figure out what I am passionate about, to be honest. However, I know that I want to learn more about the world I live in. (I am curious about everything and anything). That is why I chose to major in International Studies and minor in Geography—so that it will give me a strong foundation that will help me go in any path I want to in the future. I also chose Media studies for a similar reason, because Media is such a massive player in our modern society and I wanted to know more about it!
