I guess it was about time I made one of these.

Hi, you can call me Renia, or Leah. My pronouns are She/They. I’m Australian, autistic, and an aspiring author. I am largely interested in fantasy, sci-fi, history (specifically but not exclusively the history of the Jewish people in Eastern Europe, and of the Shoah) and travel.

I’m currently planning a trip to Aotearoa New Zealand!

TV shows I’ve watched recently include: Fargo Season Five, Daredevil Born Again Season Two and Black Snow Season One. Currently watching Turning Point: the Bomb and the Cold War.

Movies I’ve watched recently include: Sherlock Holmes 2009, the Society of the Snow and Fargo

Right now I am reading: the Society of the Snow, by Pablo Vierci and Fall and Rose, by Mitchell Zuckoff.

I like all kinds of music but currently I’m really into Shovels & Rope, Gogol Bordello and Shakey Graves.

I am Jewish, if you are going to be foolish about this I suggest you go elsewhere.

Theres currently some crows nesting on the building opposite us, and they still remember that we used to put out bird food years ago (had to stop because of too many neighbour complaints of loud jackdaws in the garden), and have managed to work out that they need a sneaky way to get food without alerting all the other birds.

This has had the consequence of me having to inform my flatmate that if he hears a polite knock at the kitchen window he needs to feed the crows or they WILL start trying to steal our cookbooks.
