Everyone's giving Beetee shit for using the same plan twice, but nobody is giving Snow nearly enough shit for letting Beetee near an arena again and not having a plan for the exact thing he tried last time.

been thinking about this and really bro was INSANE for letting beetee anywhere near that arena and the quarter quell, never mind INSIDE the arena. when he's managed to pretty much pull off a scheme to at least partially seriously damage an arena AT LEAST ONCE (probably MORE times that we don't know about) and since then has had a quarter of a century to plant seeds and scheme and whisper and build connections and hack their little systems and lose more and become angrier and smarter and WHO KNOWS WHAT ELSE!!

the more you think about catching fire and the quarter quell, the more you realise the whole thing was a farce. the whole idea and execution was so counterintuitive towards the capitol's cause. these people, these oppressors work against themselves. their own logic fails them. crazy, right?!
