A/N: Just something to pry my creative box open. This was done on the spot lol.
You had the whole sky to your eyes as you lay down against the uncomfortable grass. It was blue and gold. The sun was warm against your face and you squinted just to try and look at the fiery ball of fire. It was difficult so you gave up and stared at the white patches of fluffy clouds. A shadow loomed over you and you turned to give an annoyed look to the owner.
You stopped. Surprised. It was Jimin.
The sun rays made him look so bright, his blonde hair glinting. He reminded you so much of the Little Prince.
“What are you doing here?” you grumbled, trying to hide the delight in your voice. Even if things were already ruined between the two of you, you were still stupidly happy to see him. It was pathetic.
Jimin only grinned at you and sat beside you, looking ahead at the line of trees and tall grasses. You didn’t bother to sit up. Your heart was beating loudly against your chest.
He did what? “Chucked the v-card out of the window?” You chuckled making him playfully push you slightly. His touch was really comfortable and warm and sent surges of dopamine in you. You hated it but you absolutely loved it.
“Shut up,” he laugh, a small playful pout gracing his lips. You saw it because he was now lying beside you, enduring the uncomfortable prickly grass with you. “I finally told her, Y/N.”
You nearly choked. It can’t be. “You told what?”
“I told her I loved her,” Jimin said, daydream coated in his voice. You were sick. You felt like someone punched you in the guts over and over again. Hurt was slowly invading your system. Heart breaking, smile falling. To you, there was a thunder cackling in the background.
“What did she say?” your voice cracked but it wasn’t obvious. You do not dare face him because heartbreak was painted over your face.
“She said that she loved me too,” he replied, smiling. You bit back a gasp, world breaking.
You wanted Jimin to leave you alone. You wanted everyone to leave you and let you be. Let you cry in desolation and pain. Slowly, you choked out words, “Then, shouldn’t you be with her?”
“Ouch, are you driving me away, Y/N?” he giggles, feigning an ache in his heart.
“You know, it hurt when I realized that you’re not in love with me. But nothing can compare to the pain I felt when I saw you fall in love with her,” you wanted to say but instead you just chuckled.
“I just want to be alone, Jimin. Come on, Romeo, don’t you prefer to be with your Juliet rather than me, your dear ol’ Mercutio?”
Jimin groaned, “You stayed up reading Romeo and Juliet again? Argh, I hate it when you do that. You get poetic and you barely speak human. I can’t understand you.”
“Whatever,” you force out a laugh, pushing him up and away from you. Jimin complies and finally sits up, laughing an “Okay.”.
“See you, Y/N,” Jimin says as he places a kiss on your forehead, also opening your clenched fist and in it, he placed a single daisy flower. You close your eyes, pretending to be really tired. It doesn’t make you blush like before, it just crushes your heart more. Torment, suffering, torture. That’s what his oblivious presence did to you. Once you open your eyes, he is gone.
You had the whole sky to your eyes. But it didn’t matter anymore. You couldn’t see the sky because tears filled up your eyes and were slowly trickling down as you fiddled with the flower. Agony eating your insides as your stomach clenched in pain.
You cough, the first flurry of bright yellow petals rushing out of your lips.
