I also think that the strength gap is at least partially manufactured women would in fact be stronger overall if little girls were encouraged to do physically taxing games and activities and eat their fill while theyâre growing vs having to constantly diet and be sedentary indoors (or god forbid do intense cardio while under-eating). The amount of adult women honestly afraid to lift weights bc they think theyâll get bulky as though bulking isnât a full time job that athletes have to spend all their time on and anyone on earth gets shredded from just using their adult muscles for their intended purpose, girl your bone density đĽ
if you say women are intentionally nerfed from birth in 2026 people look at you like youâre insane and start condescendingly telling you about how women are just better at different things (but not during their periods haha) but this was a completely basic feminist talking point I grew up with like âgirls can do it too! [shot of little girls climbing and running with boys]â nickelodeon commercial tier base level I hate it how is everyone suddenly dumber than the average 7 year old
Unfortunately, I didnât recognize my baby Qais today.
I beg you as a persecuted mother in Gaza, watching her child suffer without being able to help him. Please, donât leave us like thisâdonate now and help me save my baby Qais.
Today, we rushed him to the hospital because of severe anemia and his wound worsening, and I had no choice but to give him expired medicine because I cannot afford proper treatment.
I beg you as a persecuted mother in Gaza, watching her child suffer without being able to help him. Please, donât leave us like thisâdonate now and help me save my baby Qais.
Every night, I promise myself I will stop begging and somehow find another way. Then morning comes, Qais still needs medicine, and I return with the same broken heart, asking for help again, please donate now.

There remains no proof that the people on boats did anything illegal and we have no right to be summarily executing people in international waters regardless.

i support universal free healthcare for one simple reason: if you are diagnosed with a terminal illness you should quit your job. quitting your job is the correct response to terminal illness. but you canât do that if your healthcare is tied to your job
listen if somebody knows that they will be dead in a years time, and you are forcing them to continue to come into work, thatâs fucked up. terminally ill people should be able to quit their jobs and live their last few months to the fullest. i donât get how thatâs a controversial opinion
Transphobia is about to be signed into law in the UK. We can fight this.
I am begging the UK trans community and its allies to attend the Mass Lobby at Parliament on June 25th, 11am-4pm, organised by Trans Solidarity Alliance.
Last year we broke the record for an LGBT+ mass lobby of Parliament. Will you help us break it again? Join us on 25th June 2026 to demand be
The new EHRC Code of Practice pushes trans people out of toilets, hospital wards, and community spaces. It normalises gender policing based on appearance and stereotypes. It becomes statutory guidance in the UK by the end of June.
Trans people are now legally their assigned gender at birth and must join gendered spaces accordingly, but if they are perceived as their lived gender, they can also be ejected from those spaces. The guidance says: either break the law, or donât pass too well.
A mass lobby is where you invite your MP to discuss your concerns with you in-person. Ask your MP to:
Demand full parliamentary scrutiny, debate, and use their free vote on the EHRC Code of Practice.
Support any motions rejecting the EHRC guidance. As of June 4th, Labour MP Nadia Whittome has submitted a prayer motion - Early Day Motion 240.
Write to Bridget Phillipson, the Minister for Women and Equalities about our concerns
Your MP does not have to be an ally, they do not have to respond to your email for you to show up and greencard them (details below the cut.) What matters is that as many people as possible show up.
I cannot stress this enough: Showing up in person matters. It is much more effective than petitions, emails, and letters.
It is a horrible, stressful time, and I am so sorry if you're trans and live in the UK. But I was at last year's mass lobby and the line for greencarding alone stretched around the back gates. It was a record breaking mass lobby and made us impossible to ignore. Let's do even better this time. Details under the cut:
Worried about what to say?
Bring your personal worries about transphobia being signed into law, and trans friends being excluded from public spaces. You are a living person who deserves dignity. Remind your MP of that. You will also get guidance and brochures from Trans Solidarity Alliance that outlines our demands. This is mine from last year.
Money issues?
Trans Solidarity Alliance provides a travel bursary that you can sign up for via the link.
Got a refusal or no response from your MP?Â
Come anyway! You can request a same-day appointment with your MP through a process called greencarding. They will come and see you if theyâre already in Parliament. Even if they donât, theyâre made acutely aware of your cause because you showed up in person. This is my greencard from last year.
Here is the EHRC Code of Practice in full. It's a tough read, but some highlights are:
Organisations canât provide trans-inclusive, single-sex services, or they risk being sued for discrimination.
e.g. domestic violence support for women including trans women, menâs rugby group including trans men (12.68).
Trans people will have nowhere safe to pee.
If youâre a trans man, businesses can't allow you to pee in the men's, and you can also be ejected from womenâs bathrooms if youâre perceived as a man. Vice versa for trans women. EHRC suggests a âthird spaceâ bathroom, which is discriminatory and unworkable for most businesses. (13.130-133)
Sports organisations must exclude trans people from single-sex competitions (13.73).Â
A womenâs only sports competition must exclude trans women because of their biological advantage or face potential lawsuits (13.74), but a trans man who has undergone testosterone treatment can also be excluded based on fairness rules (13.81).
Trans women are stripped of the legal definition of âlesbianâ, and therefore no longer have legal protections if theyâre discriminated against on the basis of sexual orientation. (2.50, 2.92).
Here is the Good Law Project's better explanation of the EHRC Code.
I have also made a PDF printout of QR codes for the government petition, email your MP tool, and mass lobby link to pass around your communities. DM me and I'll send it to you.
I love women too much to ever willingly inject the warped ideas of masculine superiority from cis men into my own experience of being a man.
The fact that so many of my fellow trans brothers and transmasc siblings have absorbed these toxic ideals as legitimate reasons to validate their own identity while casting out trans women and femmes is mind boggling to me.
And then on top of that, having the audacity to use the fact that we just happen to be born with vaginas to simultaneously claim âvictimhoodâ over trans women which only reinforces cisheteronormative gender norms that buys into the idea that anyone born with a penis is âinherentlyâ bad and evil is⌠so antithetical to the POINT of being a trans man, who is capable of reinventing a new kind of masculinity without the influence of cis male toxicity.
Iâm not interested in using the genitalia I was born with as an excuse to tell my trans sisters that they donât âknowâ what misogyny is like when the same hand that holds them down is the same one that strangles our entire community for the sin of self-determination.
It just feels like a lot of adult trans men I encounter are not actually interested in growing into their manhood, in a mature and nuanced way. Like, I make it a point to NOT emulate cis masculinity and learn from THEIR social mistakes by actively treating people with basic human decency and respect while maintaining a level of respect for myself as well.
It feels more like theyâre trying to manufacture a division between themselves and trans women and transfemmes in an attempt to validate their own identity as menâŚyet also, finding a foothold in perpetual victimhood by falling into TERF bioessentialist talking points that literally NEGATE their existence as MEN.
Itâs beyond sad to me that so many young trans men are careening backwards into the âlittol soft bean trans manâ ideas of the 2010s instead of us making real progress towards a new, adult version of ourselves that can handle women, especially trans women, expressing their hatred towards men without acting like we are specifically being targeted by that statement and crumbling over it like fragile cis men do.
TDLR: I just wanna tell some of yâall to grow up tbhâŚlike, yâall are literally GROWN đđź ASS đđź MEN đđź arguing about who is allowed to be the âmost victimizedâ.
Happy Pride!! Trans women experience a specific type of oppression at the axis of misogyny AND transphobia against them.
THEM BEING HYPERVISIBLE IS NOT A âPRIVILEGEâ WHEN IT COMES AT THE EXPENSE OF THEIR OWN LIVES!
As trans men (MEN), the issues we face are completely based in transphobia and the denial of our existence as men who are not cis. Iâm tired of hearing the shit thatâs been going around about us being targeted because we are ânaive lost womenâ.
Stop repeating this shit and accept your own experience in manhood. Stop parroting TERF bioessentialist talking points where âpenis = dangerous toolâ and âvagina = perpetual victimâ.
I am a man who happens to be transgender. I understand misogyny because I was perceived as a girl/woman growing up but that was NOT who I WAS (or am) and it would be wrong of me to claim manhood while trying to avoid any accountability in parroting patriarchal values as a MAN in a patriarchal society.
We have the conditional privilege that comes with being seen as men, which is very fucking easy in a society that doesnât hold men to the same physical and absurd standards that they hold women to.
hi! carey means needs help still - he's the voice actor for frylock in aqua teen hunger force! adult swim screwed him badly and pays no residuals and barely paid him during the show's run. he has heart failure and survives on con earnings, plushie sales, and donations while waiting for disability to get back to him. posts used to make the rounds for him, but haven't in a while, so i wanted to make a new post!
if you'd rather buy a plushie - here's the shop he and his wife run!
Jonathan Joss was an Indigenous, gay man who was murdered on the first day of Pride month as well as Indigenous History Month. He died protecting his trans husband. Homophobia and racism arenât marks of the past, and this is a heart breaking reminder of that.
Praying for a safe journey back to the spirit world, Uncle â¤ď¸âđŠšđŚ
Today is the anniversary of the death of Jonathan Joss (King of the Hill, Parks and Rec). Jonathan Joss was an Indigenous, gay man who died protecting his transgender husband, on the first day of Pride month. Today we remember him and how he protected his family.
