Oh wow! I am so so so sorry for this very late reply - i just saw this today (as I haven't been that active these past few months/past year huhu) 😭

Aaahhhhhh I feel you!! Its so exciting finding and meeting other Super Beaver (overseas) fans here (and online in general too!!)!! When i was starting, i'd look at the super beaver tag and get excited and like (english) posts that mention Super Beaver hahaha (it was few thus the excitement) 😭

i'm just happy that more and more people are becoming fans of them because they deserve it - they spoil us so much with all the new music at least every other month and all the events (that i/we can't even attend personally but they livestream some of them so to that I am still extremely grateful!!)😭

Welp, I'm (not yet really) back from the dead just for this! It's been such a long time since I last posted here (and actually translated something HAHA) (edit: WOW MY LAST POST HERE WAS MORE THAN A YEAR AGO WHAT). I've been real busy with real life - work, work, and did I say work? :(( I miss having lots of time HAHA ;_; also, life update - I took the JLPT N4 exam last December and passed woo thus the inactivity here :))

ANYWAY, enough of me. Let's talk about this song. This song was so beautiful, so heartfelt, it brought me out of depression inactivity. God they did it again: Yanagi's lyrics, together with Buyan's emotional vocals in this song - just hit me so hard I was CRYING HARD after listening to this the first time :(( The words they used in the song may be mostly simple (and I love it so much because it makes translating relatively easier - but definitely STILL NOT EASY), but the message was so so so meaningful. Especially the whole second verse + second pre-chorus where they speak about how we try to understand ourselves and the people around us better. If we try to understand people without understanding/knowing ourselves first, then we're more likely to hurt the other people because we'd only be showing them someone who isn't the real us just to ~please~ them. We can't become someone else just to conform, but we are all beautifully unique, and no matter our differences, we all deserve the true happiness that we all strive for.

But it was kinda hard because I didn't know how to properly translate the lines in the choruses with the words "taisetsu no imi". It's been on my drafts for how many months already. *me ga hana ga mimi ga hada ga shita ga - the 5 senses (eyes/sight, nose/smell, ears/hear, skin/touch, tongue/taste). The whole line comes to me like "all my senses starts to remember you so much it pierces through my heart" that's why I translated it that way. Its kinda like when you try to remember something and you remember them so vividly - like how a certain place smelled, or how a certain food tasted - that's what the line is trying to convey.
