We play Rich in Poppy Playtime ?
I got this theory in mind since I saw all of Chapter 3. I was content to have the character be unknown, this 'Jamie B. Honey' that everyone was just fine to name him with. But as I rewatched that one tape about Rich, this gruff worker who has had a tape every single chapter, I'm starting to wonder if the protagonist might be Rich himself. It's just, he was someone who worked on every level of the factory, meaning the many toys of the place would remember his face. He got a possible promotion, which put him at the head of a department, which earned him a slide from Chapter 2. Rich was disliked by many people for his rudeness, which could have led him to getting fired ahead of the Hour of Joy, but he was also 'honest to a fault', which prompted him to come back once he got the message. Rich was a great adept of the Grab Pack, which would explain why he'd be so good with it. It's just a wild theory, of course, but it sure sounds probable enough to think about it.
