Just had some awesomely healthy and great tasting Dave’s Powerseed bread and unblanched peanut butter. This bread is awesome and extremely healthy. It is also a very heavy loaf and filling - it will not leave you hungry. 5 grams of protein and more than a pill of omega 3′s in every slice! To top it off I found a discount place 5 miles from where I live where this bread is $2 per loaf!
Thought you all might like to see the results of a survey I put on Google+ in the bodybuilding and fitness community. I wanted to see what people use to exercise - primarily, do they use free weights, machines or body weight exercises. So far after 1 week there have been 101 votes, some great comments and a number of shares as this was both quite interesting and popular. So far you can easily see that there is a clear, marked preference for free weights. Let me know what you think. Here is a picture of my wife and I from June this year (2017). This is prior to my starting to workout and changing my diet. I was no longer fitting in my size 38 pants and needed to leave the button undone with a loosened belt to fit. Now I am a size 35 with room to spare (a size 34 is just a tad tight on me). I have also lost a lot of unhealthy weight and I feel so much better. My mind is clearer, I am more focused, I don’t have pain in my joints and muscles or swelling and I feel like I did 20 years ago. I keep hearing the naysayers saying it won’t last or it will bounce back. That’s not going to happen. I am going to stick with this change - I love it!

This is the complete profile picture. It is of myself and my beautiful wife from a recent Halloween party. I had recently started exercising and eating better (better nutrition). Over the past 4-5 months I lost 5 inches off my waste and around 40 pounds and I feel simply amazing. I have so much more energy, I sleep better at night and just feel great! This Tumblr blog is about things I tried and learned along the way and how I am committed to staying in shape. I will cover wheat grass, juicing vegetables and leafy greens, exercises I do and related, helpful information and more.
My wheat grass I currently have growing. What you may find interesting is that I like to use complementary plants that put nitrogen and other minerals back into the soil. Clover is great at this. So, if you look closely at the plastic tub on the left you will see it is greener and fuller due to the clover sprouting in there along with the wheat grass. The tubs in the middle and right have already been harvested twice and are still going strong. By using complementary, edible plants, I am able to get better yields and many more cuttings out of my seeds. This stuff is simply amazing when juiced in a blender. It rids the body of toxins, cleanses the cardiovascular system and even the capillaries in the scalp that, left unchecked, can lead to male pattern baldness and graying hair. If you want to be healthy, lose weight and feel better - you have to try juicing wheat grass!
