Just introduced a kid to her adoptive parents. They brought her a dozen roses. We met at a restaurant. I arrived early to get a private booth and told the waitstaff what was up. So all the servers were having a cry in the corner. I’m at a coffee shop a few miles away, giving them space and having my own cry.

Life is hard... People are angry, selfish, and mean. People hurt others intentionally.... Shit happens. It's not easy and it never will be... No matter how nice you are someone will always be there to beat you down. It's happened a lot. Not just to me....but pretty much everyone. Then they are left to deal with the pain..... But through all that. Through life. Through being torn apart so many times. There are people there that want to help. Were it not for those people....I probably wouldn't be here.... I probably couldn't type this. I wouldn't have been able to keep going. Those people that change that. I love them. More than they know....They saved me from myself....It's not over....Life will get harder...but they make it seem a bit easier to swallow. In the end. I want it to be an experience. Even if it means a few detours. But they make it worth it.
