drizella has been nasty since she was a kid. she had such a desperate desire to not be lumped together with her twin that she made sure she wasn’t. she did what she could to shine brighter and when it worked, she made sure everyone, especially anastasia, knew it. their father was the only person that the twins were seen as equals by and it drove drizella crazy. and then he was gone. and drizella felt both sadness and relief. she knows that is messed up, but she didn’t need anything or anyone holding her back by trying to be dishonest here!
the grief did help her though. she was able to take it out on her mother’s new beau and their new step-sister. ella was meek and stupidly kind and just seemed to get whatever she wanted because she was...ella. drizella took great pleasure in making her life harder, even if ella always bounced back from it. that drove drizella insane and only made her meaner.
when ella ran away, drizella threw a fit. no one cleaned and endured their cruelness like ella did and when lucifer thought of the idea to get her back, drizella was on board. her relationship with lucifer was complicated; he was the eldest, but in drizella’s eyes he was the dumbest, therefore not a real threat to her. she often called him baby brother to bug him and remind him that she does not see him as above her.
the rise to social media fame was all because of drizella and it is a hill she will die on. sure, the twin aspect grew the crowd in, but that was all the work anastasia ever put in, in drizella’s opinion. drizella came up with the better ideas, she kept track of their income, she kept the accounts running when they needed to be active. sometimes drizella just wants to delete anastasia from the accounts and keep it going, but anastasia is nicer and that is the edge she does need.
drizella feels no regrets or remorse for getting remy out of anastasia’s life. he was a problem, he was making anastasia think she was more than she was, and he was a threat to their brand. so now he’s gone, but annoyingly still hitting them up. drizella is this close to sending him hateful messages as anastasia and squashing this for good. the only issue is she is sure anastasia has seen these messages. but she isn’t responding, so drizella is keeping quiet...for now.
drizella is picky when it comes to potential romantic interests, or that is how she comes off at least. she likes older men who have their life together and lots of money to spend. and then there is daria. an accident. a blip. and the only person who has come close to drizella’s heart ever. drizella isn’t out to anyone because she knows she will be disowned if her mother ever finds out. she doesn’t know what to do, actually. she hooks up with guys all the time to keep her mother from wondering, but all she wants to do is go see daria. drizella is sure she can...get over it. she just needs to stop it now. sure, she has always looked at girls like they were...well....pretty...but still it’s not the same and she is not...nope! not an option to her.
drizella loves her life though. even though half of it is a secret to everyone she knows, she knows better than to let anyone just know everything. she doesn’t trust anyone and she is fine with that. she has seen the way people fall from their platforms and she will be damned if that happens to her. she is sugary sweet online; a roll that she has perfected over the years. in person she is more likely to slip, but she will have a big smile on her face the entire time she tears into someone if she needs to.
she is vain, she is picky, and her self-worth is low, but she is great at faking it. she has had an eating disorder since she was a pre-teen and has been excellent at hiding it. besides, her mother is kind of the one who planted it in her in the first place.
she has always wondered why she isn’t just naturally kind like her sister and ella, but she doesn’t think it’s genuine. she is genuine. for the most part. a monster maybe, but for the greater good!
she knows for a fact though that she has no idea what love is. she would never know if she had been in love because she never really knew what it was supposed to feel like. her mother doesn’t love her and if she does she has a weird ass way of showing it. she doesn’t know if her siblings love her but she cannot blame them if they don’t.
honestly she knows she should show a little more interest in kit, but he is kind of annoying. she only lets anastasia go at him because she knows she can do better.
she has a small dog named champagne and they go almost everywhere together. nothing on this planet relaxes her like champagne does.
her world is so fake that it is real to her. and the only thing that is starting to break that is daria and she hates that.
her knowledge on magic is honestly not very informed. she wouldn’t even believe in it if weird things didn’t happen in animania so much.
she doesn’t know what her real passion in life is. she sometimes thinks it’s just being famous, she sometimes thinks it is just pleasing her mother, she sometimes think it could be something else. all she knows is she is good at what she does and she is determined to not make a name of herself somewhat.
she cannot stand it when people call her driz. it was some nickname she had from when she was a kid and she likes to think she demolished her inner child a long time ago.
she probably cares her family deep, deep, deep down. she is not warm or affectionate to them so it’s hard for even her to say sometimes.
