Life is quite literally all about enjoying amazing food and seeing little silly films. Releasing as much art from your mind into the real world as possible. Building community in spite of individualism. Passing along kindness to strangers. Finishing off the day with a delectable ice cream or a novelty beverage of some kind. The break is over. Usually during break I still think about work or personal projects. But today, I decided to let myself being still, pondering about an employee here whose beauty I admire. But she's been clocking in everyday for two weeks now and has been looking exhausted. I realized that I value the opportunity to rest a bit more than beauty.

There was a 6,4 Richter earthquake at 1 am. I woke up at the the small shake at first and was thinking that maybe I got a headache. But then the shake was getting bigger so I was abruptly standing up then ran down the stairs and accidentally scratched my foot. The earthquake was long. I still heard the rumbling sound even after I get off the flat. It was surreal but thankfully things were fine.
