I think it would be cool if the only scars Phantom had were the ones from his death, and the couple of little ones Danny had before that.

But Danny's living form is covered in scars from every fight he's had.

I think I want to use that as a metaphor for how he gets the injury -figurative or literal- while in his hero form, but can't process them and begin to heal until he goes back to being himself.
