And we did not make it to 2024
The 2023 was really a challenging year and everything ends there.
We did not make it but me, myself and I will definitely make a comeback this year.

Hard times
I'm praying for him to step up To take courage to step up To make amends
I'm praying if we are meant to be We can move on and move forward together fast
If not, please save our hearts this ache I hope this sadness and hurt will pass sooner than later
I hope if we are meant to be, let us find forgiveness and understanding in this matter Take this challenge as a lesson to remember in the future and not to take each other for granted
Let us appreciate this alone time and this separation to teach us how ugly this will be...
I'm so tired to have my heart mopped in the floor as if it is nothing I deserved to be acknowledge as a partner not just like someone else
I guess I'm desperate for this to work out
Ikea and Ice Skating Rink in MOA
Since it’s summer, we decided to go to the Ice Skating rink in SM Mall of Asia. We secured a best offer in MetroDeal, instead of Php 499 for the afternoon pass, we got it for Php 375 only. The afternoon pass is good from 12:00 pm to 7:00pm which is a very great deal if you ask me.
Upon arriving in the SM Ice Skating Rink MOA, the line was so long that it took us a few minutes to get to the cashier for our voucher’s validation, they will give you afternoon badges and you need to wear it inside the premises, you can also go out and return after if you want as long as you have the badges. After the validation, since the place is still crowded, we decided to drop by at the famous Ikea Restaurant.
It took us more or less two and a half hours to get our orders. The line was so long and the queue is so slow. But since we have high expectations with the food, we went along with the waiting game.
We got their famous meatballs, baked salmon, mushroom soup, garlic bread, spaghetti, fried chicken wings, cinnamon bun, croissant, empanada, french fries, chocolate cake, carrot cake, brewed coffee and nordic drink. We also bought the kafferep cookie with chocolate filing and raspberry filling and choklad mork (dark chocolate bar) for to go. For the price list, you can check it in the end.
Honest review of the food: it was below our expectations and the hype is not worth it. We don’t want to be know it all but as we tried almost everything on the menu, I rather eat in Jollibee for cheaper price and faster service. 😊
Back to our Ice Skating journey, it is my first time to do this and I’m not really confident about it, so I rent out a polar bear for starters and it was really a big help. In the end, I learned how to balance and walk without it like a pro sheesh, just kidding. Therefore, if I can do this, you can do this too. (We can do this!!!)
For almost two hours of non-stop ice skating, we conclude that it was really a fun experience and definitely worth it to try and I'm very proud of myself by the way.
This is a good bonding together with you friends and family. Just be ready for the crowd and please bring your own extra socks!

Binondo Food Trip 2022
Because the Metro Manila is now in Alert No. 1, we took it as an opportunity to begin travel and to go to places we cannot go since the pandemic.
To start of this “new normal” freedom, we start in the online famous and you-can-do-it-yourself tour in Binondo.
I have been to Binondo before and it was beautiful and an adventure that will make your tummy full and your cravings satisfied.
We originally plan to visit 20 stores and who are we kidding? Lol
We did not go to all but here’s the list we want to visit, in the following order:
1. ZCT Delicious Restaurant
2. Ongpin Mañosa
3. The Original Salido Restaurant
4. Shanghai Fried Siopao
5. LGA Fastfood
6. Ang Tunay Beef House
7. Salazar Bakery
8. Estero fastfood
9. Ying ying tea house
10. Sincerity Restaurant
11. New Po Heng Lumpia
12. Quick Snack
13. Ho-land hopia
14. Café Mezzanine
15. Eng Bee Tin
16. Dong Bei dumplings
17. Wai ying fast food
18. Masuki
19. Tasty Dumplings
20. Lan Zhou La Mien
21. Lord Stow’s
We eventually take the original plan and adjust according to what will happen during the tour. We start at the Sta. Cruz Church and took the Ongpin Street.
First stop – ZCT Delicious Restaurant. We ordered lechon kawali which is in a huge serving but it was not crispy at all. The special machang is a sticky rice combination with meat, it’s like a vanlenciana slash biko and sadly we did not like ☹The stuffed shrimp was like your typical kikiam and I think is nothing special. We decided not to order the Beef of Maki because the other shops we will go will offer the same item and the Pancit Canton is too much for a group of three and we don’t want to be full in our first stop. This is my first time going here and it’s kind of epic fail and I wish I can turn back the time, but I guess you guys learn from our mistakes hehehe
To cheer-up our journey, we decided to go to the next stop – Ongpin Mañosa. Unfortunately, the shop is for takeout only and we don’t think we can eat their famous maki along the street, but the place looks promising, there has a line of orders even for takeout only.
A few walks away from Ongpin Mañosa and we met our friends, the more the merrier and few walks away too is the Shanghai Fried Siopao.
We decided to take the fried siopao to the Estero and eat it while we wait for our food which is a very good idea, the fried siopao is still hot, fluffy and meaty.
At the Estero, we eat at the LGA Fast Food and it’s different from the shop that you will see in the entrance and look for their signage and their crews wear a yellow shirt.
It’s my first time to eat frog legs and it’s quite good and their chicken is good a typical buttered chicken, nothing goes wrong with fried chicken, we love fried chicken.
Before our next stop, we side ordered fresh lumpia at New Po Heng Lumpia and it’s fresh and a good combination with peanut and you must eat with a lot of the sauce, we love it!
Next stop is Ying Ying Tea House Restaurant, there’s a long line for lunch since it’s twelve noon and we don’t want to waste time falling in line so we order takeout of their famous Hakao and it’s no lie, their Hakao is superb with real and whole shrimp inside.
We moved on to Café Mezzanine for our last meal together before we go separate ways, it is located on the second floor of Chuan Kee and which is beside Eng Bee Tin. There’s a long line for Chuan Kee and luckily no lines for Café Mezzanine. We ordered Chicken Feet, Xiao Long Bao, Sago’t Gulaman and Mango Shake. We really like the chicken feet and it is so soft, easy to eat. The Xiao Long Bao is good too, even though it’s my first time and I don’t know where I should compare it to. The drinks were too sweet for our taste.
To end our Binondo food trip, we ate Lord Stow’s egg tart and it was amazing and you must try it.
Final thoughts, Tiktok and other online platform really give attention to Binondo and which this place deserved. The food is very incredible and the history in every corner for a budget friendly cost is not bad.
I wish we also got a chance to dine in Dong Bei dumplings and Wai Ying fast food because my last experience with these shops is splendid but the line was so long.
Kitakits in our next adventure! (See you in our next adventure)

Im so happy with this book that i put a lot of sticky notes on it 😍
Welcome to my first blog. Hehe
Not really a formal blog but i am trying to make one - and blogging is one of my dream to do.
So to start with it, i’m planning to open an account in stock trading.
You know that one thing you saw or read that seems really good and you think of - why not try it yourself?
It’s trending and i will follow the trend 😎
Kidding aside, I’m really interested in stock trading since college but i was not ready or not really into it.
After college, i work as a sales and marketing associate for a small company and etc. and then covid happens.
We don’t need to go to the office, we do work-from-home thing and suddenly it hit me.
Im not ready and im not okay with what’s happening to the world and to myself because of covid.
Financially, emotionally and physically.
And by financially, if you are poor or less capable, this covid hits you big time 1,000,000x plus.
It’s hard that most of the people lost their jobs or most of the people are struggling to eat and have food at the table. And Im in the latter by the way.
There’s no permanent in the world, covid proved it, therefore I search and I look for things that will help me change my position with this covid effects.
To help financially, I got an idea to open a online business, and i just did. As simple as that I opened a business together with my friends. An IT company and a thrift clothing store and it doesn’t stop me from there. And now I decided to do stock trading.
Yehey!!! 50% of me
Wtf am I doing with my life - 50% remaining of me
By life goes on and I just believe in saying: you won’t know unless you try. So here i am, making my way to stock trading. And i know it’s hard to do something you don’t know at first, thus, i study all things about stock, a general information to begin with.
I hope this blog gives you a sign to do things you are afraid to do and things that you think you are not capable of because no one will stop you but yourself. Exceed your expectations, not by other people’s expectations, by working hard and by just simply starting 😊
Ciao,
J
To start with...
Look at my Philippine map, which gives me hope and something to look forward to.
This is a scratch-able map where you can scratch the places you’ve been to and to give you a sign to where to go next. (Insight: It’s very satisfying to scratch, I feel accomplished)
It’s a good way to track and to keep you in your 81 Philippine provinces challenge updated and it’s a good thing to visualize your dream.
Cheers to more scratching! Hehehe
81 Provinces of the Philippines
As the pandemic begun this year, I had a lot of thinking....
What can I do that I didn’t do before pandemic? That will be to travel, though I had a lot of decent travels before but this time it’s different.
Traveling seems very easy, you ride a bus - you go to places you don’t know - and that’s it. But for me or I think the rest of us, we gave ourselves a lot of reasons not to do it. It’s either we don’t have time, we don’t have money to spend or we’re just afraid to out alone.
So far, I have a timeline or to do list before going 30s. Because as a girl, 30s is another level of opportunities and when I’m still in my 20s, I want to try something new or to experience a lot of things that I will very proudly to speak or to share when I’m in 30s.
This is a challenge that I hope I can complete with friends or by myself. And will try to use this platform to share my every adventures ahead and hopefully my adventures help you or other people to take the time or the opportunity to travel because time is gold.
ciao!
