Oof, look at that adoring face
this cat isnât cranky in the beginning, those half-closed eyes are a sign that kitty trusts the guy in the video
anyways i wanna have a picnic with my wife underneath a big tree on a hill overlooking a meadow while she wears a cute sundress and i wear a matching button down and we laugh and talk and eat and watch the sun set and then stargaze before packing up and going back to our home where we live together and going to sleep in our bed that we share because weâre in love

save the bees⌠and save the bats, save the wasps, save the moths. they are all pollinators, and they are all important to the earth, even if our human eyes donât deem them as charming as hummingbirds. we have to protect them too!
the LITERAL point of this post was that even if we donât particularly like certain pollinators, we shouldnât condone their extinction.Â
itâs heartbreaking that people are reblogging this with âi hate wasps, they can die!â wrong! try again! itâs actually not about you, sorry.
The propagation of the âbees are good pollinator friends, wasps are badâ meme is one of the worst things to come from this hell site. The amount of people repeating that uncritically is horrifying, and proof that falling for baseless bits of misinformation that appeal to pre-existing sensibilities isnât exclusive to any one political ideology.
I donât know who started the lie that wasps donât pollinate flowers but nothing could be farther from the truth. Wasps collect insects and spiders to feed their larvae, but adult wasps of nearly all species feed exclusively on nectar, just like bees which are a kind of wasp anyway. Most flowering plants can be pollinated by a wasp and there are thousands of plants _ONLY_ pollinated by wasps, including nearly all orchids.
Nothing highlights the ego of humans like realizing people hate them for being so good at fighting back against our presence. Social wasps evolved those stings specifically to keep big birds and mammals from eating all their young.
