I’m gonna go off of my usual topic and dump for a second. Next semester by Twenty One Pilots has to be one of the most beautiful songs I’ve heard in a long time.

When I discovered tøp at 12 I was having so many struggles and didn’t even know how to put what I was feeling into words, when suddenly here were these songs and this person feeling exactly what I was feeling. It made me feel less alone and made me feel more human.

“The clique” was my first fandom and how I found my love for art. I was depressed and having suicidal thoughts but I found a community that cared about me and had been through the same things I was going through. Although I’ve drifted from these friends they truly had such an important impact in my life.

As a teenager I didn’t see myself making it past 16 and then 18 and now at 20 I’m still here. Living past what I had declared my life expectancy is so strange. I had no plans for myself but I’ve finally found what I want to do for the rest of my life and I live every day as if it’s my last.

I still have struggles, I still have hard days but I’m here, living. I guess what I’m trying to get at is, it gets better. Stay alive. |-/
