Emiliano Rinaldi FW16 Lookbook Part 1
Emiliano Rinaldi, the Italian born-and-based designer, launched his namesake label in 2011. This was a natural step for him; he began his career working for the family business which specializes in industrial and product design. For Emiliano, becoming a designer was a calling, not just a choice: “I have always looked for harmony, beauty, sensitivity, and sensuality in the people and things I encounter.” His collections mix elegant tailoring with modern interpretations of luxury loungewear. There is always a hint of decadence in the silhouette, feel, and details to make the wearer feel special (whilst remaining composed and comfortable). A new take on classic Italian design which isn’t afraid to look both to the future and the past for inspiration.

Lemaire FW16-17 Runway Part 1
The Parisian designer, Christophe Lemaire, designs clothing that he would like to wear himself. He launched his eponymous label in 1991 after having worked alongside such luminaries as Yves Saint Laurent, Thierry Mugler, and Christian Lacroix. While continuing to expand his independent company, in 2010 Christophe Lemaire took on the position of artistic director at Hermes women’s ready-to-wear. The collections he produces are imbued with an elegant, quiet sense of luxury that allows one to mix and match according to the mood and moment. The wearer’s wardrobe is timeless yet wholly personal at the same time.

Ffixxed FW16-17 Lookbook Part 1
Ffixxed is a collaborative art and design project founded by Kain Picken and Fiona Lau in 2008. Over the years they have moved the label’s headquarters between Berlin, Hong Kong, New York, and Melbourne, always picking up inspiration from their travels. Now, Ffixxed has established their own in-house production studio and residence in Shenzhen, China. Located at the foot of the picturesque Wutong Mountain, a multifunctional living, creative, and production space has been created that shifts and adjusts around the needs of various Ffixxed projects. This unique workspace has led to a preoccupation with the role and function of clothing in relation to the varying facets of everyday life. The resulting garments showcase distinctive concepts and innovative ideas while always being comfortable and easy to wear.

And Wander uses high-tech fabrics (developed in-house or in partnership with renowned producers) and purposeful detailing without forgetting about style. Always thoroughly field tested, the garments uncompromisingly combine advanced functionality with fashion forward design.
