# SVAGEKING : everyone needs a savior when things go south. that is none other than david finlay; the savage king, the rebel, and the former leader of bullet club. everyone talks about him; constantly the center of attention whether it’s good or bad. it didn’t matter to him because he was here for one thing and one thing only— to show the world he isn’t like his father. no, he was much better than he was. wrestling was never in david’s cards because he wasn’t interested in it but that is when he decided to pursue the world of chaos even if it didn’t interest him. at first, he did it out of boredom but then it turned into more than he had anticipated. he was no longer the man who was the joke of japan, he had become the savage king who had taken out top talent such as the aerial assassin, the catalyst, and the death rider. david isn’t afraid to speak what’s on his mind as he’s the arrogant asshole whom everyone had “hated” until the very end.

after he takes off his boots, david is a complete different person. he still carried himself as if he owned everything yet it was a cover of his true self. the man who was vulnerable and had a soft spot that would make jokes that were incredibly terrible with that obnoxious laugh of his. a yapper who will never shut the hell up. most importantly, he didn’t have to pretend ( only on tv he did ). very few people see that side of david. only a few knew him who he is outside of the ring.

many people have perceived him to be an asshole who hurts people’s feelings for no reason but that was not the truth. the only time he’ll be “hurt” someone is when he’s being disrespected or if someone talks ill of those he cares deeply for. david doesn’t care if he’s seen as the “villain” because to him, it shows how some people don’t like hearing the truth and see their true colors. will he regret it? no because there’s always a reason behind his words. someone has to say it how it is and that’s him.
