Blake nodded and watched the Grimm as Athena began searching for the dust. Sure enough, the creatures leapt for both of the faunus. Had they recognized that Athena was distracted? Whatever the case, Blake leapt in front of Athena, drawing the two attacks together.
All in one neat little row, Blake thought. Her aura rippled over her form as she swiped with both halves, one long arc crashing into the creatures and dissipating them almost instantly. But it flickered, thenâshe had enough for one final stand before she was on her own.
âHere!â Athena handed her two cartridges--one of red burn dust, the other of sky-blue freeze dust. âThese should do for now--lemme know if you need more!â Recognizing the slack she had been giving, Athena pulled Gullaina out and aimed it at the fishes.
The searobin grunted as a bright beam of warm, golden energy shot forth from the trident-weaponâs tips and started electrifying the water beneath them.
