The Verses of Fasting from Surah Al Baqarah recited by Qari Bandar Al Baleela
‘Amr ibn Qays رحمه الله used to say,
“Glad tidings to the one who rectifies himself before Ramadān.”
Latā’if al-Ma’ārif (page 138) of Ibn Rajab
📚📚
“O you who believe! Observing As-Saum (fasting) is prescribed for you as it was prescribed for those before you, that you may become Al-Muttaqûn (pious and righteous)" [Quran ch.2: v.183]
📌 The Prophet ﷺ would often make this supplication (dua): 📚
🕋 “O Allah! I seek refuge in You from anxiety and sorrow, and I seek refuge in You from incapacity and laziness, and I seek refuge in you from cowardice and stinginess, and I seek refuge in You from being heavily in debt and from being overpowered by men” [Al-Bukhari]. - Sh. ‘Abdul-Aziz ar-Rajihee حفظه الله 📜
سورة الغاشية : تلاوة جميلة للشيخ عبدالرزاق بن عبدالمحسن البدر حفظه الله
Surah al Ghashiyah Recited by Shaikh Abdur-Razaq al-Badr
📌 ash-Shaikh Salih al Fawzan - May Allah preserve him - said:
Tawhid: This is to single out Allah as the only Creator and Controller (of all that exists), to purify worship for Him alone, to abandon the worship of others besides Him, to affirm that He possesses the Most Beautiful Names and Loftiest Attributes, and to absolve Him of any deficiency or defect. This definition encompasses the three categories of Tawhid and their explanations are as follow:.."

Al-Hafiz al-Nawawi (رحمه الله) said, "It's befitting for the one who wants to say a word or some speech to contemplate within himself before he speaks. If it becomes apparent that there is benefit in it, he should speak, otherwise he should refrain." Sharh Sahih Muslim (18/117)
He Can Never Repay Or Thank Them
A person who is dutiful and good to his parents should know that no matter how good he is to them he can never repay or thank them (for their rights and privileges).
[Book: At Their Feet - Piety Towards Parents, p. 25 | By al-Ḥāfiẓ Abū'l-Faraj Ibn al-Jawzī | Translated & Published by: Dār as-Sunnah Publishers]
Don’t sacrifice the enjoyment of the akhirāh for the enjoyment of the dūnya.
I like finding my old posts.
Shaykh Saalih al Fawzaan,
“Allaah does not waste the reward of the believers. He causes calamities to befall the believers for purification or multiplication of reward. It may also occur to a believer as an expiation of sins and purification from sins. The believer may (also) not have sins but calamity befalls him in order to raise him in rank. This is because Allaah had written a rank for him in Paradise that he cannot attain with his (righteous) deeds. So, Allaah afflicts him with calamities to double his reward for him in order to attain this rank. A believer is always upon good.
-Sharh us Sunnah Pg.346
“The city (Makkah) has been made sacred by Allah the day He created the heavens and the earth, and it will remain so till the day of judgement”
- Muhammad
[Bukhari 1587 and Muslim 1353]
Shaykh Sulayman Ar-Ruhaylee حفظه الله: ❝From the rights of the spouses at the time of the marriage contract is for the women to be lenient with the dowry, without extravagance. And she should not place upon the husband a burden above his ability because from the means of happiness for the spouses are that they are not laden with debt and concerns. And that the man does not feel that this women - whom he lives with under one roof - was the reason for placing this worry and stress upon him, which has no period of relief and he is not able to handle.
“Do not go to extremes with regard to the dowries of women. For if that were a sign of honor and dignity in this world or a sign of piety before Allāh, then Muhammad ﷺ would have done that before you. But he did not give any of his wives and none of his daughters were given, more than twelve uqiyah (meaning five hundred dirham). A man may increase the dowry until he feels resentment against her and says, ‘You cost me everything I own, and caused me a great deal of hardship.’ ❞
