It's been, what, 20 years since i've posted any Gorillaz art? It feels that way! I've had so much happen that it's been hard to find time to sit down and draw anything, but I finally got to do it! I'm a little out of practice, and my glasses prescription needs to be updated (going on two years now!), so excuse the mess (smudges, sketchy rough draft lines, etc.)

Thank you so much! I haven't been active for a while regarding artwork. I've had so much going on! I've got ideas for doodles, but I'm running low on doodling energy! Thank you for the love, it keeps me going, and is very encouraging!

My step mom passed away last night. She went peacefully at home after choosing to go on hospice after being diagnosed with complete liver failure. It's been a rough day, and we are all exhausted. There's so much to do and get arranged, and all in the middle of moving!

I might be absent for a while, or at least on irregularly. My step mom was put on hospice for liver failure Thursday, and today she stopped eating and had to be given morphine for generalized pain. We are also in the process of trying to move, and it's really hard. There's just so much going on, and (going wrong) I don't want to go into all of it right now.

So If you don't hear from me for days in end, don't be alarmed! I'm just just trying to run my circus and wrangle my monkeys! 🤣

I have been almost entirely inactive on this blog for almost a year. Nobody panic, I'm not abandoning this blog at all! I've just had so much going on. I'm in the process of getting a house! I actually have it, I'm just having a lot of trouble finding a place to put it. I'm also trying to get my vehicle fixed, I'm taking care of my parents, I'm working full time, and also trying to take better care of myself. I've some other personal/family stuff im trying to take care of, and it's exhausting. With my work schedule, I'm pretty much coming home, making dinner, squeezing in a quick workout, then showering and going to bed. Saturday of errand and housework day. My only day to relax is Sunday, and by then, my brain is not braining. I have ideas for drawings, but no motivation.

I really miss doodling Murdoc and Noodle, and I will eventually get something posted!
