Aaand that's a wrap on 2023! Thank you so much for all your support this year. I made so much artwork, it was hard to choose one per month! Years ago I was in such a poor mental state I could hardly make even a few pieces in a year, and look where we are now 🥰

The end of this year was capped with discussions about why the heck I chose this path. According to others, I had such a promising start to being a career woman, but because I chose to become an artist, to others it looks like I'm languishing.

This is the harder path, but that doesn't mean it's not worth doing. Having been confronted with this reality time and time again, it's only caused me to reaffirm that this decision was the right one. To anyone who has had to face similar scrutiny about their futures, I'm right there with you. We still don't have everything figured out, and not knowing the future is scary, but let's look at it this way... It might be nerve wracking, but we're chasing what fulfills us and THAT'S exciting.

Every now and then I like to update a print design to see how much I've improved, and it's so satisfying to see! These are both a little old but only two years apart from each other! Also everyone needs to watch/read Ore Monogatari (the big guy gets the girl 🥰)

The largest canvas painting I've ever made! This was a baby shower gift for family years ago who brought me this near five-foot long canvas and let me have at it 😆

I had a lot of trepidation in painting so many clouds and the ocean, but I think the feeling got across! ❤️
